started playing a few hours ago and finished recently my first reaction was sadness because i didn’t realize there was a season 2 and 3 still unwritten. 
oh well i liked the story and had my suspicion of our character from the beginning

As long as we get others to pass the time with like during our break, I’m okay with the slow burn.

Mc- What?
Sydero- You know what I mean, who was better me or one the other harlets you went through during our little journey?
Mc- Look, I don’t ask you about the hundreds you went through before me and you don’t ask of the handful I had/have(depending whether or not they keep dying)before before last night.

Quick question, is Zillah the malevolent being that the witch sisters mention in the book universe? Or is he the other smaller one?
The malevolent spirit that the witches mentioned. The smaller one is dead.

Beware that the Superstition series is rated M/+18. The series contains explicit content as well as themes that can be triggering. Scenes, scenarios, and conversations that resolve around drugs, alcohol, death, rape, abuse, etc. will take place. Though there are going to be trigger warnings in place, possibly with the option to avoid parts of it, you should be aware that these topics will come up.
This warning can also be found on the game’s page on itchio.
Episodes are scheduled to release every Tuesday, though ToxicDreams / 13Leaguestories already annouced that there will likely be multiple breaks due to life.
Like Season 1, it is free to play as will be all following seasons/books.
Only additional stories like Wayward Road (do play it if you want some explicit time with the ROs) will require you to have bought the base game. As little as $1 is enough, if I remember right.

I’m quite curious what event in season two got you this riled up 
I’m loving the game and will praise you further - however, both I and my friend (who I dragged along to suffer) are dealing with a bug? we both are trying to romance the dearest sydero, but it seems we can’t unlock her romance specific scenes (the one about the police uniform and the Kiss) despite following the guides and having the stats for them - does the decision of bringing chris along locks those scenes away?

The bug you describe is odd. Chris’ presence has no major influence whether you get these choices or not.
I checked again and think that the part of the guide for the police uniform part might be written a bit oddly. I’ll go and change it to make it clearer.
To get the option to say you want to see Sydero in a police uniform in episode 4, you MAY NOT have Creativity bigger than 10 or the college major Creative Arts. So you may not be a creative Roe if you want to get this option.
You get the kiss her option in episode seven if you have 5 romance points at this point. If you of course did not get the police uniform choice and have Chris with you, you won’t be able to get enough romance points for this.
If Chris is not with the group, you do get a romance choice in episode 4 that you do not get if he is with your group.
You do not need this choice if you manage to get all the other options. So don’t be creative if you want to have Chris in your group and all possible Sydero romance points.

Summary
Hi!! I wanted to start creating my own Threads to talk about my Love, Feelings and Perspective on different Choose Your Own Adventure and Interactive Fiction games that
- Have had their discussions locked (due to inactivity or the game being finished)
OR - may not be Active on the forum at all
I noticed that a lot of the games I want to talk about with people- the threads are closed or I simply don’t know where to find an active fandom for. Especially because many of the games I play are Ichio based, so It makes it really hard to find avid readers in that demographic through Forum, for a single game.
Since the thread for it is locked, the topic of discussion for this thread will be drumrooolll SUPERSTITION by 13leagues. I have read the current story so many times. But just realized yesterday, damn, I have nowhere and no one to talk about this with.
If this is not okay, please let me know and i’ll delete it right away!!
Also, I’m not sure if I put this in the right group or not. Again please let me know.
Summary
So, while reading the Superstition Series for like the 11th time last night, I came to a conclusion that actually made me sit back from my computer and just…think. This conclusion gave me the urge to restart the game and reeaallyy pay attention to the dynamics of the MC, the group and the other characters of this world. Somehow, I never caught this before but If I had to describe our character based on how the people in the Superstition world see them It’s:
That one feral or stray cat that lives in the neighborhood and everyone it hates for no reason. The stray cat that fights at night and gets into stuff, in its search for food and shelter. The stray cat that you hear your neighbors damning after having a bad day, the kids scaring off and the dogs chasing. But then there’s you; feeding it, witnessing its affectionate nature behind the potentially feral attitude and knowing that all this cat is trying to do is survive. You know not where it came from or if things were always this way for this cat but, you know that it should be common sense that it is just living with the cards that it has been dealt like everyone else- nothing more, nothing less.
That’s our character and we as readers are the ones feeding them. But our group- our group are the ones damning MC and taking out all their bad days onto them. As if they all aren’t trying to survive in the same F’d up situation.
Yet within my conclusion- what really dumbfounded me about the dynamics of everyone with MC was the fact that, if you take the time to truly pay attention; besides Amari, Zillah- the sadistic entity in our head is the most Trustworthy and Consistent with his behavior. No matter how much you hate the dude, compared to the backlash we get from our own group and literally everyone else, he is less harsh on MC. Everyone seems to forget MC didn’t ask for their life to be the way it was and that all they’re trying to do is stay alive.
Every. Single. One of them, except Amari, has had some sort of dialogue that would blame MC for everything. Nothing but attitudes, verbal abuse, victim blaming, rejection etc. And it was non-stop. Almost as if their lives were the only ones going through Hell LITERALLY and MCs life is just Gumdrop Buttons and Rainbows (which is more baffling when you think about how most of it comes from CHRIS…CHRIS THE BEST FREAKING FRIEND). And, though Zillah plays a part in that, he still somehow manages to be more…idk…Real? Dude could try to kill us multiple times and is still more understanding of our situation. His only flaw is that he uses that understanding to get under MCs skin whenever he can Lol.

But yeah, I don’t think I would be as mentally strong as MC, at all. In real life I actually could care quite less of what people think of me, but I can honestly say, That if it seemed like EVERY person I came in contact with hated me, wanted to hurt me (physically or verbally) and or blame me for their life being in shambles; Especially when coming from someone super close to me- I wouldn’t be able to handle it.
Disclaimer: It’s one thing to have some issues with a specific character, scene or plot area; But if you want to just talk about your general hate for the game and or the writer as a whole…just refrain from interacting at all. Any thread I open will usually be for people who actually enjoy the game i’m discussing and can talk about all the good, the bad and the ugly- Respectfully. I want to try to keep things lighthearted, so, if you have some genuine grudge against it, this thread may not be for you.

Romance wise Amari or Zillah are my favorites (though I haven’t done a full run through with Amari yet). Amari especially because I recall in one of my first playthroughs Zillah caused MC to kill her …dad? I think. Even so, I remember her being a little wary of MC but she still forgave us, treated us like a person and wanted to be near us a lot. She was smitten with MC quite fast; simply the sweetest thing ever 
. Also, when you choose to beat Zillah’s face in; he was still okay with us afterwards. Bro respected it, didn’t simmer over it and even kinda liked it with his Freak self 
. These two characters hold nothing against MC.
While if you try to romance Chris or Rahim, they both find reasons to be upset at us or keep us at a distance. If you’re Playing a Male MC, Yeah Chris struggles, I get that but what about outside of that. His multiple thoughts about us as a person in general are crraazzyy coming from a friend. Wrong for liking men. Wrong for adapting. Wrong for not being human. and a Monster because we don’t know what we are. Rahim, is affectionate one second but then the very next scene is him being cold asf; outright rude. All due to a broken heart and whatever secret he’s hiding. But once more, it’s not MCs fault.

Chris is annoying. That’s why I’m sending him away all the time 
Don’t feel strongly negative about other characters personally though. Zillah is ass for sure, Sydero is a B yeah. Amari just kind of naïve. Rahim - meh. The kid, forgot his name, is nice. Also don’t feel like MC gets blamed for everything, maybe only by Sydero. But again, i probably played only as friendly and chill MC(maybe a bit depressed too, “no one can hate you more than you already hate yourself”), so maybe that’s matters too. Should probably replay it
