I’ve played a lot of the CoG and Hosted Games library, and having completed my first playthrough, I have to say that I loved the originality of this one. Many of the decisions in the game almost gave it a Sid Meier’s Civilization type feel. (fortify the walls, build a school, or build a market as example) Being a fan of the Civ games, I really enjoyed the micro view of how it would work in a single city over a lifetime. I also indirectly (doing what I felt was best) ended up completing what I would call a pacifist run. Achievements including:
Pacifist
Peacemaker
The Art of the Possible
That said, I especially enjoyed the interactions with the goblin king.

This was an interesting and rewarding experience. I find myself highly motivated to stick with my characters personality traits, and build my choices and solutions around them. I am going to try the merchant next.

It’s possible to marry both Cronos and Kingfisher or to marry both Ebbin and Ari. To make this work, when you’re spending a special moment with one of these characters, wait for the other character to interrupt, and then make an encouraging suggestion. You’ll need high relationships with both of them for the evening not to end badly.

Yeah wished too that this would have been possible.
This game doesn’t have any romance time. You are always busy building the settlement. While you are busy they are dating. So they are already couple unofficially. Of course there are no gay or lesbian lover among ros. If there were , then we could have gotten our harem.
Since this was not the case, it would have been better to get a gender changing person( if you are into women then a woman, if you are into men then a man or a gender fluid) exclusive to the MC.
They would be the kid of the landlord who gave you the land for your heroic deeds. When you go to the big town to recruit more people for your settlement, you meet them and hit it off with them.
When you are forced to marry someone, you consider sending letters to them. If relationship is high enough they will say yes.
After the marriage they will move in your house. And help you with your job. Spending little time with them can be turned into little romantic time.

I’m still really confused on how to do this. I’m trying to romance Kingfisher and Cronos, but always end up either romancing one or the other
how do you build up defenses and military?
I keep getting reminded that they are low but never given the option to actually do anything about it
So how do you recocile Ari and Cronos my relationship with them is high, yet i tried to have Ari be fair and she said fuck it if you want him so be it. There was no option to help them understand one another like I wanted. How the fuck did you do it?
I’m obviously late to the party, but I just finished my first run of this game and I feel proud of what we’ve accomplished. I played as a blacksmith and managed to reconcile everyone. One thing that got me laughing my butt off was the option to trap Cronos and Ari in the mines so they could work together and settle their differences – an option that I could not resist choosing. It didn’t end well (or perhaps it did). And by the end of the game, I felt like I really did protect all those people.
I can’t wait to become an undead on my subsequent playthroughs lol still figuring out how though. Great game. I will be replaying the heck out of it.

If anyone knows please tell me how to get this achievment Cold Be Hand and Heart and Bone and become undead. I cant find guide anywher so if anyone could help I would be realy happy😅 its prety sad that no One has a guide in this game and that Almost no One look here and no One will propably see this and if somepody did they propably wouldnt know the answer so Yeah would love if some One helped me and thank you if you saw this or liked or will like my post🤗

I can’t recall exactly, but I think it involves following the “magic path” at the end of the game? Something akin to a Revenant trying to push you to embrace magic fully even though it strains the body.

The two are inherently linked I believe: searching for the Tomes raises knowledge and your ability in magic

Perhaps deeply late to the party, but is there any way to romance Fram and also be peaceful? The two seem at odds.
