Just a thought, but could ChoiceScript made games be submitted to Steam Greenlight?
If you’re intending to publish the game yourself, as opposed to through the Hosted Games I don’t see why you couldn’t try and submit it to Steam Greenlight. You’d have to pay the Steam fee though, and pay Choice of Games for using choicescript.
If you plan to release through Hosted Games, you’d likely need to negotiate with Choice of Games, to also release the game elsewhere. Wizard’s Choice, and Seven Bullets, are the two examples I can think of which have been released in different places, as well as via Hosted Games. (The other places aren’t in choicescript though).
