Their job situation is such a fertile ground for either relationship arc, and I’m having a great time exploring that. Glad you’re enjoying it too!
What happens if the people we need to connect are already in a relationship or even married?
It would depend as the assignments do not come in on a first in first out basis (“you will get your match now because it’s your turn”) but take the circumstances such as geographical incompatibility and current relationships into account. It will be interesting to explore in the game, but in that case, the existing relationship would most likely be on the way out.
This was delightful! Wish you the best of luck with writing!
this was so fun to read! at first i thought the soul links were some kind of supernatural, but mc and their coworkers are human?? wonder how the compamy actually works. will the lore come up in game?
ig i can see where M came from, but cmon man, what mc supposed to do with all that (the fact that someone outside of the company can get access to information M get is huge security and privacy breach tho) (but free housing) (and health insurance? maybe?)
the game: save A’s contact as Andrew Wyatt, work
me: no no change that to andrew (lowercase = friend)
Thank you! The inner workings of the company and the powers it grants its employees (and what that means) will definitely be explored in the game.
Right? The “I need to eat??” angle is honestly so real, I love writing it. They do get medical insurance btw and are paid fairly well. Wyatt’s car is no Mustang but it isn’t cheap either
Oh, now, that’s a good one, honestly should have thought of it since it’s the same for me.
re: errors
Thank you for reporting! Very silly of Wyatt to make references to some dungeon () when that’s not what they’re doing, and after the fix I’ve pushed just now they no longer don’t.
The second one is fixed but it’s a part of an active document with the next update, so it will go up somewhat later.
