Sorry for double-posting, but here’s a progress update.
Currently sitting close to 60 000 words for Chapter Two and the end of the chapter is looming, but all the side-branches are not finished and it’s still a mess. Basically I am plodding along, still well on course for the end of the month deadline.

It depends on if you’re playing a male or female MC. If you’re male, you see her being presented. Female, you notice a red-head standing near Ginevra in line to be presented. That’s Quinn.

Yes, that was a Doctor Who reference 
I immediately thought of this scene with the 12th Doctor fighting Robin Hood with a spoon but well, once can be a coincidence. Then later you mentioned the celery which reminded me of the 5th Doctor who always had a celery stalk on his lapel and then it couldn’t be a coincidence! But apparently, yes, it could

I just knew that I most often had seen it written with a capital C, indicating it being a name, and that I once was on the website. I was actually surprised by it being much older than a website when I searched Wikipedia to check! It began in Canada as a study guide called Cole’s Notes which also has a nice ring to it.

I really must watch Dr. Who, but I have almost zero self-control, so if I start, Season of Shadows will be abandoned for weeks! So I have to exercise the tiny sliver of self-control I do have, which is not to start at all.
Regarding progress Get ready to hurl potatoes everyone. People on the Discord know this already, but I am not going to be done at the end of this month. Chapter Two will be finished, but not the personality edit. Sorry. It’s not far off though. Chapter Two just got very long…

Replayed it earlier because it’s just that good. Idk it’s so light and fun but still so interesting and the MC’s stakes feel genuinely dramatic within the setting… I could go on. It brought some much needed levity into a pretty dogshite week XD so thank you for that <3
Anyhow, I was wondering if, by any chance whatsoever, it’d be possible to like, reluctantly fall in love with Linden? As in, “wow, what a pompous blowhard, why the hell am I blushing”. Because that’d be hilarious to me personally.

Lord Linden, haha, I did actually write a flirt option similar to that yesterday He really does give off that vibe, doesn’t he? I’ll say this, his plot is definitely the most dramatic, perhaps only Quinn comes close. Strap in for the ride!

for sure haha <3 mutual admiration definitely carries inter-IF relationships in this community, and that’s coming from someone who has successfully befriended three other authors whose works I enjoyed, so I have some experience there
I would have never guessed that Linden would have such a dramatic route! Now I’m even more intrigued. You know, I think the hypothetical reluctant MC is just me, because when he made his entrance I thought he was hilarious with his uh. Extravagance. but then I ended up way more compelled than I would have expected at all

I’m actually quite shy to talk to authors whose works I admire. I tend to make them out as rock stars in my head. Perhaps I should be more like you, another author I admire =P, and talk to all of you more! (I’m internet shy in general anyway, I lurked here for a year before I posted even a comment.)
I’m so glad. I don’t think he has a lot of fans here (yet), but I’m very fond of him. Nice to see someone see a bit more in him.

Oh I get you! I used to be the same. Now it’s gone for the most part. Except for the author of Infamous, who liked a tumblr post of mine once and I still think about that. Also when C.C. Hill reblogged me.
But now I’m mostly very normal about other authors. Promise.
Also figures hahaha for some reason I’m always into the less widely popular ROs. Idk. His dorkiness has drawn me in.
