Basically, the boosted stats will be ported over, but the items won’t. (I’m losing the “Inventory” system in Relics 3, as the game doesn’t really need it. Several of the race-type mechanics from Book 2 are disappearing in Book 3!)

PROGRESS UPDATE:
So, I finished Interlude 3 today!
That might not sound like much progress, but it is, for two reasons:
- I took quite a bit of time off to get Relics 2 ready for release, so I haven’t exactly been working full time on this.
- It’s a super-complicated interlude, with a lot of paths and different things that might happen and that need to be addressed, so it was always going to be slow work!
I’m very excited to get properly started on Chapter 4 tomorrow. I’ve got a very clear idea of this chapter, so I hope it won’t take too long to actually write. Still a few weeks away from the next update tho.

New Update: Chapter 4
Just pushed the latest update, which is Interlude 3 and Chapter 4! As always, all types of feedback and bug report are welcome. Please don’t be shy, all comments help! Details below.
Chapter 4: Dead Man’s Chest
It’s Spy-rates of the Caribbean, as you team up with Zhu (if he’s not dead) and head out to Jamaica, in pursuit of a long-lost Spanish treasure ship and a diabolical pirate king. But you’re not the only ones on this treasure hunt. Tangle once again with the deranged Nazi spy Heidi Hahn and the treacherous treasure-hunter Vince Tran, who will stop at nothing to ensure that the Third Reich get to claim the Caribbean Archive before you!
Do you have what it takes to beat them? I mean, probably, you’ve done it tons of times before, but I guess we’ll see…
This one’s very action-heavy. In case anybody thought that Chapter 3 was too sedate, let me reassure you, you won’t think that about this one!
