November 9 was the last day of the titan of CYOA. I hope he is in a better place with more gamebooks. Judging from the community we have here, his work was not in vain and everyone of us (both readers and writers) continues what he strove for.

An inspiration to me, certainly!
Awwwww, such a great writer along with Edward Packard, definitely feel that the CYOA series is what got me into writing and interactive fiction in general. He’ll be missed.
