I don’t see why not. It sounds pretty cool, I think particularly late game wise for a final boss or something. I’ll have to give it some thought as to its implication

Also is there a meaning to the story’s title (Pulse University)? Does that mean there is going to be a lot of heart motifs or future references to the heart’s anatomy (ie, the pilot’s heart racing when they score victory)? Yes, I notice things like that…
I was wondering how big are the Pulses compared to say, Gundam. But since you already said the size and the titanfall inspiration, I guess my question is moot now.

Why not make it like, to the end and/or before the final fight the mc’s mother or father ( the one that still alive) give the mc something from the dead parent? Something that boast pulse ability? (either strength, speed, power etc). Because if im remember, the dead parent is involve in pulse development.

I’v noticed something weird when i replayed recently : All the fighting seems to be written as if your robot was fighting barehanded and the weapon you choose isn’t really mentioned all that much.

@Balrog_Demorgothe lazy writing on my part. I intended on using words that could be universal in combat with the hope the reader would fill in the rest of the details mentally, as detailed fights with each and every weapon are tedious. I was focusing on the story first, and making sure everything was working right. I do intend on going back and adding detail to the fights, but if I’m being honest writing some of the fight scenes is my least favorite part about writing this wip and almost made me quit the project twice 
. I tried making the later battles a little better though

The choice “The pilotage class intrigued me. I’m looking forward to studying Pulse technology and regulations more!” in the crawl chapter doesn’t actually give an increase to the mental stat while every other choice increases their relevant skills.
