Basically, I have played through part 1 of Lost Heir on steam. When I play part two it asks me to use my save from part 1, but only lets me locate it on this site.
Basically, I have no clue how to upload my save to here, so I can re-download it for part 2 (which is also on steam by the way).
Any help is much appreciated,

Normally on steam, whatever saves you make on the first game should be automatically transferred over to the second part if you have both games on steam. When it comes to saving on this site, at the end of the game, you should be prompted to save the game to an email you have signed up with CoG. After opening LH2, try typing the email you put in on the ‘recover saves from choiceofgame.com’ or something along those lines.
Thanks, but for some reason the saves aren’t automatically being transferred. I’ll look around in the files and see if anything stands out to me.

Are you saying that if you play LH1 on Steam, you can’t take that save into LH2 on Steam?
Or something else?
I’m saying I finished LH1 on steam, then bought LH2 also on steam. Went to play 2 and got told to locate a save on this website.
Edit: Aren’t you the guy who writes it, if so I loved LH1. Took me a while to get into things as I’m new to CYOAs, but damn did the characters get me hooked. You have real talent

This is the second time I heard someone have an issue with the Steam save, and the second time that I didn’t understand whether there was really a problem or not.
So, it’s working? Are people buying both games on Steam, saving their games and continuing okay into LH2? I suspect that if it wasn’t working, I’d be hearing a lot more. But, I’d love to hear that it’s working properly from anyone who’s used Steam for both.
