I love my short Pactbinder, Kai, in his grey hand-me-downs suit fixed by Adelais. It’s quite endearing to me, lol.
I had this whole idea to make them look more dynamic but I couldn’t even get past setting the appropriate canvas size stage for that so I settled for this

The line you can think after having the private moment with him (“you find his defencelessness a little endearing”) is absolutely perfect for describing him, honestly.
That made my MC realize she was kind of desperately reaching-out to anyone and he’s the one who responded most genuinely. Which is what locked him in as my favorite RO, at least so far!

Forgot to share these stats. Quite funny to annoy Silas and the other guy (I think his name is William). (Is fighting Silas bad for the teacher evaluation? I won but it wasn’t clear to me if it was good)
Is there a way for a companion to save you? Layla was able to catch me so I started wondering. I also somehow got locked from researching longevity (It seems that if I don’t ask about it the first time, the later options don’t appear).

I think it’s pretty possible to rationalize a fake romance with Eleanor; might be misreading the signs, but it seems like she can pretty easily catch feelings for the MC, so it wouldn’t require the MC going out of their way to set up a fake relationship; more than that though,
- she’s pretty knowledgeable (which means another avenue of learning more secrets of the magical world and can help us get a leg up in academics),
- is from a well-respected family (not only slightly offsetting the MC’s transplant rep, but also offering a bit of a smokescreen as to not seem asocial and potentially offering connections down the line),
- is essentially running an off the books explorers society (giving a cover for any weird things MC happens to do or have; the ritualistic stake that MC really needs to hide better? Found it when they were exploring. Forbidden texts? Found while exploring. Tapping into magic they shouldn’t have? “well there was this weird glowing artifact I found while exploring”. Basically we can toss her under the bus if things go south).
In general though, I think it’s possible to justify any fake romance by just saying “having a partner to put on a lovey dovey face around makes me look more like a regular student instead of a serial killer; nobody ever expects the serial killer to have rizz and be in a happy relationship.” Learned it from the Light Yagami School of Hiding Serial Killing Activities

Heard you loud and clear, go back and thoroughly beat Silas’ ass. You know the funny thing is my highest stat is charisma, I could totally have talked my way out of that fight, I just chose not to for no other reason than because I was capable of sucker punching him.

Am I the only one who completely ignored the other school guys? I think I only had convo with Liz in boat (which I liked very much). But other than that I didn’t interact with anyone else.
Silas gives me vibe of enemy who monologues when they meet the protogonist

I did that in my first playthrough, but seeing we get more money for beating Silas it is now mandatory for me lol. Also the duelling guy which name I am not sure about is a nice character.

does this fight take place before or after ceremony? I might misremember but I just wore suit bought by layla, so hawthorne was kinda happy about me. I thought that was only interaction which affected our stipend

For me he is kinda an awkward guy/rival who has a problem with the MC, After beating him and later winking you will get why lol

It happens when you met Lizbet (Autocorrected to another name lol) , if you defend her he attacks you. Saving someone when the boat crashes and standing up for Layla when everyone is looking at her also gives a good impression.

Things that affect stipend are (iirc): Supporting Layla when people are being racist at the start (positive), Trying (not sure if you need to succeed, but it probably helps) to save someone when the boat crashes (positive), Outfit at matriculation (positive or negative based on presentability), Kicking the gatekeeper at the start if you arrive late (negative), Fighting Silas (positive if you win, negative otherwise), Your dialogue with Hawthorne (positive or negative based on politeness)
