Does anyone know how to marry/romance MJ?
Has anyone here been able to romance Platt with a younger female character? Or is he locked for a specific age/gender? As someone who is into older dudes I was so excited to finally have a game where I could romance one but damn, 4 playthroughs and still nothing…

Unless it’s been changed since I looked at the code, Platt can’t be romanced by a young PC - instead there’s more of a mentor dynamic. It was a disappointment to me too! Maybe they thought the combination of him being our boss plus an age difference was just a little morally grayer than they felt comfortable writing/publishing?

I’m not sure whether it was a comfort thing exactly (I don’t know if there was concern about moral grey from the publisher end) but I think it’s a reflection of the way in which most of the romances are more restricted by the PC’s traits. ie, characters having stronger preferences and such than in a of CoGs.
Hi, I played about 2 playthroughs but any advice on how do I befriend or at least convince Ax enough on their route? I ended up trying a few times but the first time I got removed from the job and then I got reassigned the 2nd time.
How do you trigger the phone call from mj about the painting?
Just chiming in to say that the scope of this game is unbelievable. I’m on my second playthrough and the content is entirely new and different. And somehow I still have only three achievements? This feels so unlike other COG games and I’m really digging it.

There are two “main branches” based on whether you get the promotion, but so much variation within them. I played several times, both with and without the promotion, and I was still discovering new storylines here and there even after several playthroughs. I still have no idea which combinations of choices trigger certain subplots, so even when you know the game fairly well there’s a sense that anything could happen. The ending is a bit too abrupt, but for most of its length, the style of the game perfectly captures the surreal chaos of the PC’s life in a fast-paced, rarefied world.
