Does Bustafellow need to be played in order to unlocked a certain route? Lots of otome does this a lot to unlocked the “true ending”. ^^;
I haven’t played a lot of otome games ever since I got into IF and PC gaming lmao. I almost recommend the Ace Attorney series and the Dangan Ranpa series but remembered this an Otome thread. ^^;

All the routes are unlocked from the beginning! Also, I don’t remember any route giving spoilers about the others. My favorite love interest is Shu, second one Limbo - but overall, I liked all the boys. The way to enter the routes is a bit tricky (you answer a quiz from Professor Sauli) so I really suggest using a guide for this. There are two chapters called “Full Circle” and “Auld Lang Syne” that are unlocked after you play all the routes, but they are to reveal some plot points - and I really hope we have some explanations about them in Bustafellows 2.
A new game launched on Steam

Yesterday I finished my first playthrough of Radiant Tale. The interactions between all the ROs and MC are so heartwarming. Found family at his best, I loved it so much! The art of the game is gourgeous, I think they are the same artists from Variable Barricade.
Also, even with darker themes and subplots in this game, there are so many light and funny moments.
And, nothing new, I am completely obsessed with one fictional man again. I love him
Damn, I really need to invest in Switch next year because that’s the only platform so many otomes are released now😭
Yeah, I would like much more if these games were released on Steam, because the Nintendo Store is very overpriced. 
I am thinking about buying a PS Vita to play Bad Apple Wars and Period Cube.
Yeah…but in Japan the PC market usage is apparently really low so if anything otome comes out on Steam etc it’s indie games or not Otomate title

Yes I think the last two “big” localized otomes that were released on Steam are Crimson Flower That Divides and Butterfly Poison. Both are VERY expensive. Also we have on Steam a lot of Voltage games lately, but I have a love/hate relationship with Voltage LOL because they have a lot of games with doormats MCs and horrible ROs. I think the last game that I liked from Voltage was Love Letter From Thief X. Kissed by the baddest bidder is one of the worst otome that I ever tried - and well, I played My Butler from Dogenzaka Lab, so this says a lot about this game.
Yes. I truly can’t understand how none of the emulators of PS Vita ever works.
I bought it on Steam when it was on sale, it’s still a lot but yeah.

Voltage newest games quality been pretty good lately… I was super into Kings of Paradise, Irresistible Mistake. There are some fun and cute stories among the infamous weird ones😅

I actually want to play it but I know it’s very sad. Sometimes these games got me more emotional than I would like. So one day I’ll play it, but right now it would be hard

Have you played Roped In yet? I have had a shitty week and stopped working early today (after working until 2 am and then starting at 9 again today) and ran through it. I loved it! A little short, but Boone is freaking hot. And it has some good NSFW scenes.
Also, if you can do Patreon, I highly recommend Heart Cage’s patreon. Holy shit. You want an 18+ otome? That is it. And the drawings.

In Butterfly Poison, the RO that I most liked (just for his appearance) is MC’s brother. I’m NOT ready for this I actually tried this game with an emulator, but I got so much strange vibes from the beginning (aka things seemed like could escalate to SA and we had this strange tension), that I felt very uneasy and stopped playing. I need to know before how it is because it’s not every scene that is triggering to me, but there are some things that I find very unsettling. Maybe when you play it you can tell me how bad it goes?
Yes, unfortunately I got the bad end in my first playthrough. 
But the game is really sweet, and Boone is a cutie. I love how both him and MC are ride or die partners. It was short, but so good. Also it has a lot of NSFW scenes, we feast in smut lol

I have also been playing a very… odd… game I stumbled on while combing itch. It’s not really otome, so it doesn’t apply here and it is very graphic with things in its own way, so I’m not sure I should put a link anywhere, lol. All I will say is that your MC gets stuck in prison. And it can go up or down from there…

Just understand this is not a romance and it is beyond raunchy. You can change things in the settings to avoid certain elements… if you need to know how, lemme know.
My husband and I have nicknamed it “Horse Dick Prison Fuck”, and it’s an accurate name!! But if it says anything, I got him to try it and he’s addicted. He’s even further into the overall story than I am now! The visuals are actually kind of hilarious. Pornographic, but hilarious.
If that makes you feel better they aren’t are step siblings (I’m also convinced from reading some review they actually aren’t related but I might be mixing that up 
) But they refer to each per brother/sister tho…
It does have themes that triggers you (on some bad ends which can be avoided then) not sure if anything happens during normal playtroughs.
I will look out for it when playing!

The author just updated the plot recently. It got to a dead end before that. Of course, I got to one point where you have to choose between following one of the prisoners or allying with the prison warden. I chose the prison warden, clicked next and it had a message that that path hadn’t been written yet, then threw me into the other path. That path has proven very interesting, though.
The code for it is up on github. I’ve actually thought of writing a module for it with a male character to romance, and have it actually be a romance story for that path. The coding looks pretty easy for the text, but I can’t manage the weird 2d drawings, but I really want to do it because prisoner you have to pair off with to escape the prison is a domme cat lady, and that’s not my thing. It’s still fun as hell, though. My MC likes beating the hell out of some of the guards then submitting to them after she wins the fight. I really want to add something in to have them comment on that because it makes me laugh.
