Otome Games

I feel the same and with Keith too. The developers said that the game mostly focused on YOU, the player. I did feel that in the game but the way the endings with the ROs are so…depressing.

I’ve played a whole lot of Romace Games and When The Night Comes has to be one of the best, if not the very best. It’s free to play at that. Gender options and two poly routes (+ all characters are cannonly lgbt). https://lunarisgames.itch.io/wtnc

Last chapter is coming out in October.

As a marketing gimmick, it isn’t the bad idea. I admit, when I first saw/heard about it, I thought it was a parody, but to see it as an official KFC thing

I just to add that I enjoyed it when I played it. I think you will too.

For those who care, there have been others released/due to release on Steam, though obviously quality will vary.
7th Circle comes to mind, though reviews are mixed.

This is one my GF is really looking forward to.

Maybe not really otome games, but some of the ones I’m interested in:

So many extra game suggestions over the past 24 hours only one i already heard about…curse you KFC im not sure if this is a expensive publicity stunt/cashcow grab or a legitimate attempt at good vn’s. only game in the past 24 hours im on the fence about…but i might still play.

That was my first thought as well

At least on Steam, I know I’ve actually spent more money last month, and this month for what interested me other than sale periods…and gifts for games out next year

Of course, tastes vary, you still have to dig through the pile…and well, the algorithm isn’t very helpful lately (at least to me). That is why I frequently look at listings of Choice of Games/Hosted Games when they go up.

One other game that I really enjoyed was a take on the Robin Hood story, but set in a world with magic. It is a bit high for what some people may want, and romances aren’t balanced (for the moment, there is only one M/M romance possible.) However, I found the dev willing to listen to feedback, and might put in additional content in the future.

Haven’t heard of Half Past Fate, going to give it a look see.

PLEASE FOLLOW OUR LIFE, IT LOOKS LIKE IT’S GOING TO BE THE BEST THING EVER.

I wasn’t impressed with Seventh Circle, it starts very promisingly with interesting interactions, and a build up to a play through with friendly interaction, potentially fighting and stuff, and a mystery to solve, all sounds cool, then main game just splits into an interaction screen where you just message people and are on split routes you can bounce between then pick an ending.

Felt rushed, bit sloppy, unfortunately.

Which of these games in your opinion have good boyxboy content @Lys and others?

I haven’t played as much as I wish (busy and all that) on some of the games.

However, I know this one came out. Now, I can’t attest to the quality, but the Steam page said it was entirely BxB

Another game I’m keeping an eye out, and looks like it will have some BxB content when released:

ok I loved red embrace hollywood but the endings filled me with a slight achy and hallow feeling. I appreciate those endings but it felt like sadness was inevitable. In one my conversations my character wants to leave town but the love interest says no. Why the hell can’t I leave?

If y’all liked When the Night Comes, the same team is creating Errant Kingdom! Their Kickstarter is almost over and so close to their goal, if you’re interested. It looks like it’s going to be fantastic! (Gender choice, background choice, choices that matter)

And AH. A Story Beside unlocks on Steam in 16 hours. It’s from the guy who wrote World’s Dawn - kind of a Harvest Moon game with a great cast and lovely story. It got kind of overshadowed by Stardew Valley (which I adore) but I highly recommend it. This one is gender-locked, but it’s a really unique take. Instead of being the hero in a traditional rpg story, you’re essentially a npc and get to witness how the heroes come and go through your town on their quests. It seems so cute.

Hi all

I just wanted to let anyone who is interested know that I’ve just launched a Kickstarter for ‘The Thorns of War’ here.

It’s the sequel to ‘The Rose of Segunda’ and I know some people here were interested in the first game so I thought I’d make a post.

Many thanks for reading

Please give this game a chance, everyone, and support the Kickstarter if you can! <3 The demo is already great, as it was the first game, and the developer is reliable, approachable and always glad to hear from the audience and talk to them!
