Wait, there will be chances to get rid of the Vices later in the saga? I thought that they were an intrinsic part of the MC and we’d have to manage them rather than banish them. Unless they are a demonic influence…oh dear. This is super interesting!
I did not realize how well thought out your choices were in this game and the impact of seemingly minor choices. Like cmon. You can only do the Tango De La Muerte IF you choose spandex tracksuit as your outfit?
This game could have infinite replayability and it would feel like a new experience everytime.
Thanks for all the stats + comments! I bring you another preview from the newly updated Alpha Build on Patreon (where Adrian’s portion of the Free Time Hub is now available).
Cinnamon Roll MC on Star-Watching Date with Adrian... meanwhile the heavens be trolling"
That’s still pretty mild considering what else the Vices can end up doing.
Certain MCs can certainly be one of the redder flags amongst the group! Although the group at large should be tossing red flags everywhere in general.
They’re about as intrinsic to the MC as their personality, powers, addictions, fears, and such… all of which can be changed to some degree or other with some effort. It’s the past that can’t be changed, not the present.
And now that I think about it, considering all the people gunning for that option and how hard it is, I suppose that should be an achievement. I made both declaring Percy as your soulmate at first sight + the best Rock, Paper, Scissors outcome as Achievements in the updated fame.
Also, I was boggling a bit about Erwin being Percy’s soulmate since there’s a side character called Erwin in the game (although I doubt most people will run into him).
And if you want the habit of going around biting people, wear the vampire cape instead…
The Serial Killer MC’s (late) only friend/reason for killing people if they aren’t also an Accident MC?
When I first started playing, I didn’t know who the side character was. When I found out, I didn’t change it, both because I liked the name and because MC!Erwin was not running into the NPC!Erwin since MC!Erwin was a Changeling, not a Serial Killer.
This was a super fun read! The text variations based on player choice were very well done and really made the MC feel like part of the story. It had me hooked from start to end, and I enjoyed reading up on all the lore haha. Adrian is quickly making his way into my list of favorite characters. Looking forward to where the story goes from here!
Stats from my first playthrough, definitely planning to go through it again with different secrets/routes.
Stats!

Yeah, that’s him. Good to know that the ungodly long warnings about various things you can name the MC are working properly. Although Non-accident Serial Killer MC Erwin is probably having a rather confusing time in certain flashbacks.
I don’t know of any published CoG/Hosted Games that remained web only. They don’t always publish every game on Steam, but they’ve always come out as apps on mobile (iOS/Android).
Serial Killer MC would’ve had to spectacularly fuck up if they get much special dialogue from Cassandra.
And speaking of spectacular, your MC has spectacularly pissed off Adrian. And Merlin isn’t too impressed either.
Thanks for the stats + compliment (also reading up on all the lore Merlin: ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧) Trying to integrate a highly customizable MC into the story where their presence is a major impact was one of my main goals.
