Did you clear the cache? Is your game displaying as Version 0.23? It worked fine for me.

Good to see that there are a couple Mcgillicuddy’s floating around. But it looks like not too many people triggered the demon attack at the leyline (and that was by far the longest route too

There are a couple people here and on Tumblr who want to know how you did that.
One of my favorite parts in Chapter 2-3 too.
Will is the secret willpower stat that’s keeping track of how… willful… MC’s been acting. I thought there was a post mentioning a few places where you could pump it up, but damned if I can find it now.
Some of the flavor text there (dead_go and screech_go) is specifically geared for how the spider/snakephobe would act. I’m inclined to let the player RP how delusional or sarcastic about their own phobias as they like… until it’s time for the phobia to kick them in the face.
That sounds like the browser error from using a corrupted save file. If you’re using an old save, go into your Status Menu and doublecheck that everything hasn’t been reset back to the default ?¿?¿?¿. In particular this line in the stats…
Meanwhile, you’ve got a weakness for [insert-addiction-here]
If you don’t have an active addiction (either because the save corrupted and lost the data or because you manually removed the MC’s addiction via the web console) then the game will bug out at that point.
If the Status Menu indicates that the save file has corrupted, you’ll have to go back and use another uncorrupted save instead. Unfortunately, the corrupted saves aren’t viable for playing as they just pop up a bunch of nonexistent errors.

Great update! I had to pause my playthrough at some point though to buy Dr. Pepper.
Percy is a delight, I’m gonna pair him up with my sourest MC, surely this will go well.
I feel like I should look after Adrian as much as he looks after MC - the part about him sacrificing himself for the other reminds me of a certain horse that he rode in the polo route…
Summary
Not sure whether it had been asked earlier - will there be more traditional ways to increase skills, like do pushups or read a book during free time? I didn’t want to choose family, secret or club based on stat boosts, since there is a lot of narrative connected to them and now my detective is more pretty than smart…
If MC is in denial about stupid sexy Merlin and they choose to ask them whether they are exhausted after the ley lines part, they still react as if they are consciously interested - is this supposed to happen?
Is this meant to be Russian? It's not really a common curse, but one could choose to use this word as a curse individually (maybe that was the intention with all the foreign cursing I dunno)

Hi I love your game! This IF is the main one thats inspired me to start my own because of the large amounts of customization and autonomy you have over your choices that i havent seen before.
I recently just ran into this problem at the favourite colour picking section after restarting due to my corrupted save which said: chapter1 line 8009: Non-existent variable ‘favcolor_green’
I believe this is also the same for the other colours like purple and brown (though I havent tested them all). im not sure if this is a problem on just my end or the game itself but its worth checking out.

You can solve this one by clearing your cache. See if it shows version 0.23 on the start screen

I don’t quite get how the corruption stuff works at the start. Whether I ignore the shadows and whatever or go investigate I seem to have it build up either way.
Edit: Nevermind, I poked around the thread and found one of those semi-guides that revealed being a detective with dark web connections is an auto 2.

A redo of my main MC, to experiment with will and what gets noticed at the convenience store.
A version of my main MC with lucid dreaming instead of tactics.
Main MC, with high will (without being a lucid dreamer) and Magic 20. My main objective was to see the thirteenth-floor scenes. Next MC will be different.
Do you plan to make the RV inventory visible? It would be nice to see that the RV has a shower mat, coffee maker, MC’s favorite shampoo, first aid kit, etc.

If you want to more willpower you can usually increase it by selecting some cloudcuckoolander options (rocket in rock paper scissors) or trying to be independent (like talking to Adrian in your apartment and then not following his advice), picking some magic options will help too.
These are some of the ones I can remember right now:-

Lucid dreamer talent(helps a lot in Camelot dream sequence where you can get a lot of willpower), and amnesiac background also increases willpower, fake amnesiac is +3 boost

Dream at the beginning:- choose to wake up(+1 will)

At apartment:- Repeatedly try to turn off the tv until you get the achievement(+1 will) ,
Use bible to exorcise the tv/monitor(+1will), having the worst phone also gives you +1 willpower -
Hellhound chase:- choose to take out your weapon generally try to fight the hellhound(+1 will)
Take the stairs to your apartment(+1will),
ask Adrian for his opinion and then choose any of the two other options that disagree(+1 will), continue plodding upwards(both times give +1 willpower each)(total +2 will)-
If you went to inside your apartment:- then choose to refuse to sleep(if you have >7 willpower else you will be forced to sleep and you will get possessed)(you will also get +1 will if you don’t sleep)

If you went to the 13th floor choose to investigate everything and then choose to reside in the corridor instead(+1 will)

Deny healing from Merlin(not recommended but will still get you +1 willpower)(both times I think if you already have low health and the demon mark also i think)(possible +2will, guaranteed +1will)

Also at the end of the dream a mysterious voice will speak to you, if you have lucid dreamer talnet turn around and catch the one talking to get +1 will and a special scene with the sleeping beauty.

(only if you have greater than 7 willpower if you follow Merlin you will get +1 willpower)
This chain gives you a lot of will.(Total of +2 will automatic including the above)-
If you didn’t succeed the stat check at the end choose to look at the dim blinding sky, and if you did succeed the stat check you will notice something trying to reach for your neck(it’s Merlin trying to bite you) so defend yourself(+1 will either way)

After that ask Merlin what they were doing the second time. ( No really … What had Merlin been truly doing?) (+1 will)

At leyline:- Choose to focus(when casting the spell),taking the mysterious call also increases willpower.(+1 will each)

Choosing not to play rock paper scissors also increases will.(+1 will)
There are a lot more opportunities but I can’t remember them.
Phone replies can also increase will and polo and fencing route also have some increases but I’m too lazy to write them down.
Also i’d only recommend about will 8 or higher maybe 10 and if your mc has high corruption and you don’t want to get possessed about 13 will should be good.
Cause the only content (following Merlin at the gas station) is locked behind will 8 or higher. So you don’t need that much willpower currently.

Some of those are definitely mutually exclusive (for example, the Masked eyes request with evaluating Zain’s wound; if he’s wearing his mask, he will not get hurt by the exploding blade).

Yeah, a lot of them are (including the entire polo and fencing sections). Since there are so many different ways to gain Will points, I figured a specific build guide would be pointlessly restricting. Instead, I just listed all the choices that affect it so that people can choose or avoid them when they come across them.

You see the version when you open the game following the link. As for cache clearing, go to your browser settings, and you should see a “clear cache” option or something similar.

AHHH NEW UPDATE
I really didn’t expect Percy to be the type that is so funny in the calmest way possible omg a goofball MC will go perfect with him. My MC for this run was goofy enough to be his soulmate hahaha. And I felt so sorry for Adrian in the Chinese checkers scene (btw it’s my favorite childhood game!! I’m so surprise and happy to see it here!) with my Percy flipping the board, my MC yelling victory, and Merlin just… there. Poor Adrian got bombarded with marbles 
. At that moment I realized Adrian was like the only normal person there. Someone save him.
Maybe I was looking forward too much, i felt this ~80,000 words update is sooo short!! Or maybe you’re just branching a lot like a lunatic, which is likely true. I code-dived again (yes I’m shameless) to see more content, and you still have fight scene for people who didn’t healed their wound! Because they can find the group with the wound. makes perfect sense. I admire you taking consideration of stuff like that. It really does feel like parallel universes when I play this game.

Wow… just wow. This has quickly gone near the top of my favorite WIPs list. The amount of possible branches is absolutely insane and the concept is so unique! As someone who as never really has much interest in the Arthurian legends this is really making me want to go and read them.
