Thanks for all the comments & stats as always! This time I come bearing the preview of the finished second branch of the third route in the next update. (So that’s just the fourth branch of the third route + the fourth route(no branching) to go)
MC Just Trying to Take a Normal Nap Here

Also, new fan guide to the Camelot MC can be found here.
So, it seems like mounting the horses came up in discussion again. One more time to get auto-added to the FAQ. It was briefly mentioned here before (good thing too, since I can’t find that pic of the person standing next to the Friesian for comparison again).
I’ll go into more detail this time.
Aubagu and Passeland are on the smaller side for horses in the king’s stable. The comparison here is Llamrei, so large that she can carry four grown men on her back and who won’t be going incognito anywhere anytime soon. Meanwhile, Aubagu and Passeland can pass as ““normal”” knight’s horses…
… which means they’re approaching the size of a light draft horse. So, someone or something (servant/knight/mounting block/magic/random tree stump/whathaveyou) will be boosting you.
This is also the custom of the day. The original stories are full of knights/ladies/lords helping other knights/ladies/lords mount & dismount to the point that even the kiddie versions of the tales called it out for explanation.
A servant or squire helping one mount/dismount is expected. Someone of higher standing doing it is a sign of respect. So, the daintiest lady would be helping the greatest male knight on the tiniest horse mount/dismount as a show of honor.
The only weirdness* here is it’s the High King offering (instead of a high ranking official like Kay or Bedivere boosting both of you) and that Camelot MC can turn down the offer without it coming across as grievious insult.
*This isn’t weird for Arthur though, he’d help boost a pig farmer into their saddle. Also Doylist reason… this is a prime flirting opportunity for subtle Camelot MCs.
Glad you like the MC! And that you found them adorable… I was worrying that some of the snarkiness from the other versions of the MC might be blending into the neutral descriptions.
Also, as has been mentioned by others, the early Camelot dream sequences will be what helps determine who your MC’s past incarnation will be. It’ll be the later flashbacks in the game that will split into different scenarios and give more apparent clues to the current Camelot MC.
All I’ll say is that Audrey III has her ways of communicating.
Also the mystical Magic 8-Ball is greatly offended that they didn’t come up in conversation here.
