New posts dont get a mail if you are active on the forum
Check your notification settings: You email settings are here, while your general notification settings are here.

@MeltingPenguins i receive none at all. usually I would get some when someone quotes me, replies to me, topics I watch and private messages

Did you check your spam filter? If you were getting a lot of emails in a row from the same address, an over-zealous spam filter could have kicked in.
Ok, I don’t know what happened but it somehow fixed itself. Probably a Gmail trouble, still thanks for all the help
