There used to be a pinned post at the top of the forums where upcoming CoG, HG and Heart’s Choice releases for the year were announced. The post gets updated every year.
Haven’t been to the forums in a while and I don’t follow all notable authors on social media, so I went to check here when Throne of Blood was practically shadowdropped. I was just surprised that there’s no post for CoG and HG this year? Only for Heart’s Choice?
they usually just make fully new ones every year. they’re probably just figuring out a schedule for this year still and the posts will probably be made soon

I’ve checked the last five years, normally it’s out by the end of December. A few times it’s out within the first five days of January. I’m surprised to see that we’ve passed the halfway point of the month and haven’t received a post yet.
You’re remembering right, there usually is a pinned post that gets refreshed each year with upcoming CoG and HG releases. This year it seems they’ve only kept the Heart’s Choice schedule pinned, which has caught a lot of people off guard. My guess is that release plans are less locked in than usual, so they’re being more cautious about posting a full list. Still, it would definitely help visibility, especially when titles drop with little warning like that.
No need to guess about anything. Our level “what’s coming out in 2026” knowledge is the same as any prior year. We’ve just been busy and haven’t had time to put up new post(s).
Can’t wait! This is the first year I’m around on the forums, but I loved all the Steam pages for 2025 though.
