New Hosted Game! "The Sword of Rhivenia" by @nutellaqueen

You have to be Queen/King in order for her to offer the political marriage to you otherwise she laughs you off.

Ah my least favorite type of ending, I was just getting into it too.

What raises your leadership or how high does it need to be to get chosen? I ended up with my brother floundering on the throne and pretty much dooming us.

Yep despite all that hype. He doesn’t know what he’s doing. He’s still too cocky about being the favourite heir but even our sister does a better job then him.

Study in the library as much as u can, make mc get hype about the throne and don’t let feelings get in the way of decisions. Don’t be kind and pick choices that are political

67 is what I seem to need to get to be chosen. (Incidentally, also no hyping about the throne, although being actively against the idea decreases the score being ambivalent doesn’t; also, my MC is kind to a fault. I get the score by studying at the library, and showing interest and understanding on the theory of politics and ruling and, when asked, being confident on my ability to do so.)

I want to spam ez after defeating Lena and Erwan

I don’t think Rhivenia could defeat Erwan and Lena at the same time, if MC not marrying Lena, hopefully we don’t have to fight her immediately.

I would think marrying Richard to Eda , while marrying Lena ourselves is the best case scenario of defeating Erwin

Can’t we just marry off Richard with Lena instead?

No, because she want to marry the ruler of Rhivenia.

To become Queen/King is actually pretty easy tbh. As in I have to actually make an effort to not get chosen when I make choices I’d actually make lol

  1. You gain leadership points every time you read a book in the library, so be sure to take advantage of that option when presented to you.
  2. Always state yourself as being the best choice for the crown and show full confidence when asked if you believe you have what it takes (like when your father asks you or Astryn).
  3. Show an interest in politics when you’re going to meet Daemir and Revna for the first time or whenever you have the option to do so.
  4. Choose the pragmatic approach when it comes to your father dying where you can mention worrying about the people or how someone better should lead.

You don’t have to stop being kind or become a stoic person to get the crown. You can still roleplay as whoever you want and it shouldn’t affect anything so long as you at least do the first 2 points in the list (I’ve only ever done the first 3 and still have really high stats in positive traits like kindness, etc). That’s why you can accidentally end up with the crown even if you said you had no interest in it. It’s really just a case of being studious and taking charge/being rational. I literally let Xavier escape and did many choices that prioritised kindness and empathy and still ended up as Queen.

I just noticed this, but everything you said is correct info!

Like @Urban mention, Lena is power hungry, at least that was my initial perception of her personality, she wants to marry the Ruler of Rhivenia so that she can hold power for 3 kingdoms with Xavier holding another one as king.

Marrying Richard, when he is not a king will decrease her power instead as Richard will now hold power to her kingdom too.

@valky yes, as @Christopher_Bull also mentioned, one can become a king/queen by playing as him/herself, whether we become the Ruler, we will have interesting experience nonetheless.Although being the Ruler gain us access of several secret and allow us to make decision of our own hand

Hey, great game, I loved it but I need advice. I’ve tried the game 5 times but I can’t get my mc to be chosen and I need advice on what I need to do to be chosen

It’s actually really easy, just bump your Leadership to about 66/67%.

The most effective way to do this is to read in the library every chance you get, state yourself every time when prompted as being the best person to rule the kingdoms and show interest in politics (I usually say I don’t care about it to Clara, but when visiting places I’ll say that I’m interested in it).

I tend to end up with about 75-80% leadership even when making a lot of choices that would otherwise scale it down just because I like doing stuff that improves my knowledge on the politics of the world and being rational in situations.

After that u can be who u want as king or queen. So I stopped being a jerk and tried to help people.

I suspicious about Perfect End. Perfect ending is Only merchant and some of chant want to reble, right ?

There’s got to be a way to come out on top that doesn’t include marrying each other off, or else the game will ultimately force us to become a needed character instead of a wanted one. This would blow off some people, so I don’t think the author intends for that to be a necessity. Also, some stats doesn’t seem to matter, such as The personality ones, which in my opinion is a good thing. This will ultimately allow us to act the way we want to act, without having to fear being blocked by them. Such stats usually doesn’t make sense anyway. In real life, when you wish to yell at someone, you don’t get blocked from doing so just because you were friendly in the past, or vice versa.
