But if you have a dirty mind during the tattoo…
Congratulations on the release!
I was really liking the novel, though get just confused to reach the end in such a cliffhanger and without having learn anything for real about the plans of any of the character. I don’t have enoguh information even to consider V and villain, I’m only seen him fighting back the ones who opposed to him which is mostly fair, I think. And I didn’t get why the Insurgents were rebelling either, because their personality is really well defined, but their ideology is inexistent). Also, it was a little bummer at the end when I was push back into the Sunworld completely against my will: I neither trusted Michael, nor wanted to go back to my old life. But still, I’ve enjoyed it greatly while it last and I’m waiting for the second part to answer all my doubts.
The question is: there is no option to save your story at the end!!! And I really want to play again, but I’m afraid of erasing my first playtrough if it has to be carry over to the second book. Any help with that?
Save systems aren’t implemented into any games until their sequels are in the Hosted Games publishing queue. This is something that the company handles, and the author doesn’t have control over it.
Congratulations on the release! Definitely going to pick this up when my paycheck drops and leave a proper review then
I understand the logic behind doing that, but I really wish they’d go back to having us save it at the end if it’s a planned series. I don’t like losing my playthroughs, and knowing I can’t save a game makes me less interested in immediately playing it, since I’m going to ultimately lose my progress and effectively waste the time I spent on that playthrough, when I will have to replay it the exact same way again to transfer it properly. Is there any way the company could consider alternatives? Like even generating a save code that the player has to hold on to, or something.
Saving at the end is still implemented. They simply cannot code save information to transfer over to a game that doesn’t exist yet, as there is no way to test the code and insure the save transfers properly.
While it can be annoying there is sadly very good reasons for it.

Jason and the others have no gurarentee that a sequel will be made. While, I have no doubt that our author wants to make a sequel anything can happen and if there is no sequel the save states just end up taking up space, where it is that cog saves them. We do have examples of this happining, sadly.

Our author might want to add something or change the code. The sequel is not made yet and it can be that our author discovers that: “shit, I should really changes this for the sequel.” Not having save states with the lacking code just make the transfer easier.

A lot of readers end up with way too many save states and we have no way to either sort them and/or delete them. (I think that I had 30 or something for lost heir series. And no way to know which is which beyong a vauge date and a sort title, we could write in). Waiting until the next one comes out forces us to cut down.
It can be sad to lose that perfect playthrough, but either way it is out of Carawens hands.
Anyway, congratulation on being published @carawen. . I hope more’s to come.
Just finished my first run. Wow! Good game! I’ve ended up with Rheylo, and I like how this slow burn is going…I’ll try the others too! Can’t wait for the next game!!!
Is it not yet released in the Philippines? I’ts unavailable in my google play.
You will need to buy the games in the omnibus, from Steam, or on the website for your location.
Are all the games to be released should be bought the same way?
Yes, at present.
I loved the story and the characters but this book was basically worldbuilding and the MC doesn’t get to make much of a difference until the end I guess. Each character’s personality is deep just right but I feel like we were not given a clear reason to go against the shadowman, all I see is a group of shadows trying to fight off a “tyrant” but without given context as to why exactly is the shadowman considered a bad guy in the first place.
Woo congrats! I’ve been following game almost since the beginning and I’m so excited to play the full story! You’ve worked so hard and it’s all come to light. I don’t think I’ve ever bought a game so fast before, but I know this one is worth it. I’ll be playing this now, thanks again XD
@Carawen Excellent story. It reminds me a lot of wayhaven, except the romance seems to progress a lot quicker than wayhaven. Which is awesome, in my book. Lol So I’ll be cheering ya on for a sequel, which I’m highly anticipating. Unique story, incredible setting, and superb and fleshed out characters combine to make an must have for any Hosted and Choice Of Fans.
Sooo… Good work! And Good luck! I cant wait to see the sequel!
Keep up the good work bought it day one it came out. Also who are the romance options again? And how can I romance them? I know it wont get that far till book 2 or 3. I just want to know
Azuridian/Azuridia, Rheylo/Rheyla, Michael/Michaela, Quaiel/Quarie, Gwyndal/Gwendolyn, The Shadowman and Jealene are the romance options.
Yeah, I feel the same. I think the author purposely keeps us in blind to really experience what the MC experiences but I wish we get some sort of idea why V is the bad guy and what sort of work that MC parents did actually. I feel like I’m fumbling around the whole story.
The agency will fill your head with lots of information, whether they are true or false.
Congrats on the release Cara, @Carawen , I remember following this game when you first released the WIP. Glad to see it is finally available and I look forward to playing through soon.
I love this game! It is a great story that I couldn’t stop reading (not in any of my 8 -so far- playthroughs). I will (patiently?) wait for book 2.
