The only thing I don’t like about the game is that it just end with a summary and nearing the end everything become more and more summative. Well it not unexpected since I play Lost heir, last wizard and etc.
If you encourage Luum to go be monarch after her parents die, after the timeskip she’ll give you the option to surrender the DSF to the Aurellians under her.
Lucid has confirmed that the Jeckel achievement is bugged but will be fixed with the next update!
Yes, any doctor with the bad blood should get this achievement while still a cadet. I’m not sure how 0.2% of Steam users got the achievement. Thanks @AltheaFarseer and everyone else for reporting these bugs!
Edit: It’s now down to 0.1%.
Great game! I’m trying to make a list of all 21 endings and their requirements. So far I have 3. Any help would be appreciated.
Paradox: When reliving memories at the end of the game, try to make a change. The game ends with a literal paradox.
Give Peace a Chance: Make peace with the enemy leader. I believe you need to be DSF President to do this.
Charming Victory: Choose to learn psionics, learn how to control minds, and use the power of suggestion on the enemy leader at the end of the game.
Wow i romanced Kyle and didn’t think they would freak out like that. I thought I would have a chance to let them stay on the ship if the didn’t want to get on the other ship but nope just freaked out and ran off.

Wow! How did you do this so fast?!
I was off work Thursday/Friday of last week so I spent both days and all weekend basically obsessed with the game. I’ve got all but 2 achievements and had already started writing down how to get them in case someone asked.
Do you know how to unlock different character’s stories? It’s just kind of happened to me with a few, but I’m not sure how to do it reliably and haven’t seen a few like Breezok and Kyle’s.
I would love to see that list!
This game let me genocide entire species!
I hereby grant it title “Best Stellaris playtrough yet”
I think you need to spend time with them when you’re given the option, like when you have free time on the ship, or if you take them with you to the rock-people planet.
Other than the ending achievements (posted above) and the baby achievements (which are pretty self-explanatory) these are the others:
Cheater Cheater
Get into a romantic relationship in college. Rekindle that relationship on the Epiphany. Take someone else with you on the mission to plant the Linnera device, stay with them, have an affair with them when staying with the rock people.
Decorated Officer
When you’re trying to plant the Linnera device, when your companion’s leg gets trapped, stay with them. This should unlock back on the ship.
Experienced Choice
Choose differently than you did at the start of the game when deciding who to sacrifice.
Family Full House
Have a bad relationship with your parent. Don’t allow your parent to be killed on Musk Station. Have a child. When you have to send one of your companions to another ship, send Alex. Achievement will pop near the end of the game.
Fateful Choice
Make the same choice you did at the start of the game when deciding who to sacrifice.
Inside Job
Join the Purists. When they order you to shoot on the Reticulans, pick “No, this isn’t the way.” and then either get Nash to leave the purists or stop him, and then “I will inform high command about Amanda Kramer.” during C13, which means you need to avoid ratting them out until that point. (thanks JenkoRun for this info!)
Jalopy
Three ship upgrades. I think I got this by convincing the scientists to install the alien tech on the ship with Kl’k, Convincing the senator’s son to go to school, and insisting that the shipyard Linnera upgrade the ship.
Jeckel
Have a bad relationship with your parent, don’t let them die on Musk Station, give Breezok’s parent’s letter to Elsoomak, be his assistant, keep the DNA, join the Medical department, when you go on your first mission run away or attack and the achievement should unlock. (This achievement is currently bugged but will be fixed in the next update!)
Just Say No
When you meet two alien ships, confiscate their drugs by either accepting their offer or by threatening to arrest them. Use the drugs.
Kirk
Have three one-night-stands. They are: on the prison ship (the ONS has always been male for me so you might have to be attracted to men?), when looking for the stolen objects (ask Jaa where the objects are and then allow him or his female friend to “distract” you), on the Reticulan ship (you’ll get an email from a Reticulan who wants to talk to you, go to them).
Life of the Party
Make all your friends like you before the party when you’ve stopped to get info from an information broker.
Loner
Make all your friends hate you before the college party.
Party Pooper
Make all your friends hate you before the party when you’ve stopped to get info from an information broker.
Prodigy
Win all 3 games in Social.
Winner Winner
Win the college clusterball game.
Let me know if anything isn’t clear enough!
Seriously, you are the best!
One question, for you or anyone else. Is it possible to get the Aurelian annexation ending if you’re not an Aurelian? I’m not sure you can get the reputation high enough otherwise.
Should be possible. From what I saw, over the course of the game you have enough opportunities to max(or nearly max) rep of any faction if you focus on them.
Yes, it’s definitely possible! Just make lots of pro-Aurellian choices - like sending Radiien and Farooz to the Aurellians, sending the prison ship to them, etc.
As someone who has gotten all the endings, what are your favorites/least favorites?
I like Give Peace a Chance best so far. Cog in the Machine seems the worst, though I haven’t gotten a doomsday ending yet.
Edit: And by ‘bad’, I mean endings that are depressing/horrifying. None of the endings are ‘bad’ in the sense that Lucid is at fault; this game is amazing!
I loved Give Peace a Chance, especially because you help so many races join the DSF. I also found the Ultimate AWOL one really interesting.
I hated Cog in the Machine so much that I actually let Kyle get their memory wiped in my next several playthroughs. I also didn’t like the Infestation one. I guess those two have similar themes in terms of your friend not being the same person any more, which is the same for any friend whose story you complete, but for Luum/Krag/Breezok it feels like a positive change but with Kl’k and Kyle it feels like a huge negative, at least to me. And Charming Victory made me feel like a really horrible person when I was getting it, because of one choice in particular.
Edit: And by ‘bad’, I mean endings that are depressing/horrifying. None of the endings are ‘bad’ in the sense that Lucid is at fault; this game is amazing!
Absolutely.
How do you complete each story? Here’s what I’ve gotten so far.
Kyle: Save Kyle from the memory wipe, encourage Kyle to not repress his memories, don’t shoot Kyle’s ship after (s)he escapes. Ask for Kyle’s help at the ending of the game, which requires high relationship + Synth reputation.
Breezok: Take him to his planet, encourage him to dna scan himself.
Luum: Encourage Luum to take the throne after her parents die.
That’s all I have so far!
