I’ve managed to get it above 80, but not a whole lot more than that.
Something to bear in mind is the Stress mechanic. While you certainly want to exercise your time control ability to increase it, overuse will lead to Stress going up, and limiting how much you can do. And if Stress goes to high up, you lose control, and Time Control can actually decrease. You don’t have to rest all the time, but when you get multiple actions, I usually choose at least one resting option.
For example, in Ch. 2, when you go to work, and time stops, and you could take a cab, ride the bus, or walk there…walking increases it by 9% (from 10 to 19). However, it also increases Stress…unless you take breaks along the way.
I haven’t really determined if one option is better in those scenes where you can enhance your power…fore example, whether pushing yourself to test with the electricity or a simple light experiment is best. Or when Dr. Oden builds her chamber, I know increasing potency may be best, but perhaps one of the other options might be better.
I was wondering if it was possible to get Olivia and Kyle to hook up, he said she was hot and I think I remember her saying something about him being attractive. Anyway if there is a way to hook the two up please let me know, if not that would be a cool feature to add in the future.
It has been a while since I played the game, but I did manage to get the two together. Basically, you need to push Kate and Olivia together in dialogues…and make sure you don’t get involved with them beyond a friendship.
I’ve just played through the game 4 times in a row, but I can’t seem to get past chapter 11, damn Barnabas always kills me. D: Even when Malaya and Jeremy are there with me. (I can’t get Alisha to come with me tho, she always dumps me in the Hospital scene) It is starting to become kinda frustrating. Any help with killing Barnabas? I would really like to survive this goddamn chapter, and finish the game properly. xd
Just wanted to say that I enjoyed this game immensely. The story was interesting, and Olivia’s character arc was an unexpected one - but absolutely relate-able, on a personal level. Definitely went for her as my RO, haha. Looking forwards to replaying this one, and trying out other options!
Be friends with Alisha, who will show up to help.
Bring friends to the fight: Malaya, Matty, Jeremy
Have time control 70+ and stress below 80
Go with him to Dr. Oden’s office
These are hints. If you are really stuck, let me know.
Sorry for necroing the thread but does anyone know exactly how to get the highlander achievement? I hear you have to kill all the other time controllers or something along those lines but idk how to make it happen
edit: just got the achievement by talking with Raj but I still read on tvtropes that you can do the greyed out thing, how do you get that done? just curious
