I think I read somewhere the succubus will now switch back and forth between genders, but I could be wrong. So it’s kind of set, kind of not set. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

And Taylor has now been rewritten to not gender-identify (somebody correct me if I misinterpreted)

Annnnnd now I want to write for MonsterNet. sigh

So slender man making appearance for Wendy I can see it all ready
Wendy: ā€œtalk dirty to meā€.

Slender man: " yeah I just killed 10 people in 10 secs" ( Wendy and slender man start making out heavy)

Demon MC can have an orgy? And so I guess nobody from the pack knows Taylor our bf. ( time to get a good werewolf costume for her), " see Taylour you have to howl like this". " I’ll sneak you food you people like later".

Plus I feel like Taylor going to have a conversation like this to your werewolf MC, " so do y’all do it like people or like dogs"?
MC: ā€œwait…what?ā€
Taylor: " know what I mean…you know"
MC: " I have practice ". And the MC leaves her at the lunch table

I don’t know, man. Considering Taylor’s ace, I don’t think she’d ask that kind of question to a 'wolf MC. And if they did, I have a hard time thinking of a reason why they’d ask; what (scientific?) purpose would that kind of question serve? :unamused:

That does make me wonder… what would we call Taylor since they’re genderfluid? Our boyfriend? Girlfriend? Partner? Whatever they decide on? I wanna lean towards partner. Though, I do find it hard to consider calling any of the ROs my MC’s boyfriend/partner. :joy:

The game is only gonna span, what, a week? I guess back in high school people would just go on and call themselves boyfriend and girlfriend from the first date… I guess I’ll have to hang that sense of disbelief for the sake of CS games in general. :yum:

Yeah my suspension of disbelief for the ROs meaning anything at all is…very small. Like…you go from casual acquiantances to bf/gf/other in the span of a week?

naaaaah, I think the side romances, like the other two in your pack or your servant or lover are far more…evocative. At least for me.

I guess I’m too far gone from high school to find that kind of puppy dog love even remotely realistic anymore LOL

Why asking for fact finding info for the report that Taylor is righting about you.

See @Drakeye knows what I mean, plus I was joking around. Put should could ask that doesn’t mean anything like asking someone of a different sex how things are for them doesn’t mean you get ā€œturn onā€ from it,just curious. Which she seems very curious about how monsters live and go on in life. So it’s possible.maybe not going to happen but, hey. (Shrug).

Lmbo yeah I’m go with friends with benefitsšŸ˜‚ but out of those definitely partner lol.

:joy::joy:, yeah they do:weary:

I would like to see a scene where Taylor asks different awkward questions depending on the monster species. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I remember at my junior high school, the record for the shortest relationship was two hours. Started in third period, ended in fifth period.

So they can record your virility and sexual mastery in greater detail.

I JUST decided to change Taylor to a set gender (non-binary with female pronouns) but haven’t implemented it yet. Chantal/Caleb the 'cubus also pretty much has a set gender - they are always the same polygendered being (you can thank @Bagelthief for that descriptive adjective), but I did give a nod to player preference by having their go-to form at school be male or female accordingly. Sort of like I’m swapping out Artemis for Hunter depending on the player, but not otherwise changing their characters. So unless there’s someone minor I’m forgetting, no one actually changes gender depending on the player, which is making them much easier to visualize and write.

As of now, only the main line-up exists of other monsters to date (male werewolf, female vampire, female wendigo, male goblin, 'cubus.) Then there are the various human options (Taylor, the twins, the vampire’s servants, the 'cubus’s lovers), and werewolves also have some options within their pack. I’ve dropped hints about a wendigo-only option, but it’s late in the game.

This is the kind of thing that if people are dying to play, I might release a paid expansion someday to introduce an opposite-gender version of the main monsters, or with more ROs, or different monster classes to play. These are all possibilities once the main game is done.

This really fit with the Taylor you built in my mind. Great call imo. (humble as it is). :dolphin:

Well I’d definitely pay for more monster classes. Let’s see, you already have my favorite of all time, how 'bout something totally, completely different, with possibilities for some sick ass gameplay moments, and awesome abilities? Something of my own creation?

No, seriously, I have notebooks filled with my own stories and drawings of the thing. See, I just love horror, and I wanted to create a monster so OP and scary, it’s not even funny.

Lol That is the Wendigo…

I like the DLC add content idea though.

As much as I hate DLCs, and having to pay to access more game content in general, I have to agree. Even I would most probably buy DLCs if it’s for a game I like.

I would pay to play as an elemental. I’m a sucker for elemental monsters. :persevere:

I actually am cool with DLC as well as long as it provides sufficient content for the price.

I think where most people do have a problem with DLC is with stuff that seems like it was deliberately withheld from a game, and sold later (the way BioWare did the Stone Golem bit for Dragon Age still leaves a bad taste in my mouth).

Hey, pretty sure I’m commenting in this thread for the first time, but I really like this WIP! I noticed a long time back, and I’m glad to see that it’s still be worked on. It’s really good stuff, especially for something set in a high school.

As for this DLC idea, honestly, I think there’s enough content (and planned content) for now. New monsters, means new characters, new interactions and introductions, a lot of extra work. I’d rather forge ahead.
