Thank you so much! Mind Blind definitely isn’t a power fantasy, which most my favorite video games are. Because as much as I love playing as the Inquisitor/Dragonborn/Stardew-Farmer-That-Everyone-Falls-In-Love-With-Because-They-Have-Parsnips, I never felt like I could ever be them, if that makes sense.
People can still be kickass protagonists even if they have anxiety or a disability, and don’t wield a talking katana (admittedly, Lilacor was awesome). That’s the kind of hero I wanted to write. Button isn’t the protagonist because of they were born to be the hero (like Nick), but because they’re smart and determined and able to overcome impossible odds with impossibly bad puns.

In light of recent events, me and my Zero have removed any and all references to any material that may be associated with an unnamed individual in any prior statements and have improved the language of aforementioned statement with the inclusion of a black “blacker than the blackest black times infinity [sic]”, a infinitesimally black black that is, by definition, provably blacker than any black black such as any previously mentioned black erroneously implied to be the blackest black.

I had a idea while playing through again. It’s nothing too big or important and I know you already provide an option to input our own, but I think a fun(ny) addition to the ringtone options could be Little Saint Nick by the Beach Boys. Cause I would totally set that as my ringtone if I was Button. It would just be the part where they sing “It’s the Little Saint Nick” (x2) on a loop haha

Also, the irony of Kent “Batman” Zarneki’s first name (is that how irony works?). I had to play through it several times, and very reluctantly forced my way through the “be mean to saint nick” route (I’m so sorry nicky). Watching this story closely.

@wildelight Could I beg for one tiny addition? I often name my MC Enola. In the office room meeting with Kim, the book stealing scene, if you pick Sherlock Holmes book, would it be a good idea if Kim then acknowledged the literary name of the MC if they were named after a well known Sherlock Holmes character? I think there’s something in the code that you can do e.g. If MC name …

I don’t remember all the choices, but one is when you need to leave the hospital and K offers Annie for snuggles, pick the “what the HELL is this Ments deal” (i’m not sure if Button “asking” Annie in the car whether they can trust her owner is one, but I picked it.) Another one is on your day off and you can choose to cyberstalk K/confront them about not telling they are a Ment, so when Nick asks you why you’re so persistent , pick the answer that says somthing along the lines “…no ones that altruistic”. You get to admit that you do find them attractive too, so no worries there.
And I think you need to meet Glitch in the cafe too, and confess why you were so upset at learning that K was a Ment, tho I’m not entirely sure. If you do tell Glitch about it, they tell K and K will try and talk to you before you get whisked away to Branhams office; I chose to ask how the dogs are and note that K doesn’t look too good, and voila! Got the “suspected as much” option.

Enola is not anywhere in the AC Doyle stories, unfortunately. She’s an excellent addition from Nancy Springer after the stories entered the public domain. In the stories he only mentions a sister in hypothetical (“no sister of mine”) twice. Not to put a damper on a fun idea, if Jo is on board that’s awesome.

Does anyone know what are the options that give more relationship with Kim? I’m trying to get to the romance scene in chapter 7 but I’m not getting it. You have to have more than 40 relationship points with Rosy and I can only really reach 40 and not go beyond that. Somebody help me.
