The Christmas story was so wholesomeš Nick is precious for just going along with Buttonās antics and carrying them to bed when they fell asleep! The parents obviously love Button and it makes me sad knowing what happens in the future and broke the family apartā¦

I canāt wait for the next update! It really felt good to read about a character that has so many difficulties and yet is so loved, you made a really good job at showing how much the family cares for Elliot, the story about the mom left me broken hearted, she left because she was afraid of hurting her son even more, she left because of love, not because of hatred, I also think that, as the story already has mind powers in it, maybe you can make a case for the Mc in which he basically Became batman? Not in the sense of building insanely complex tools, computers, and an insanely cool car, but in the sense that his I.Q. is one of the highest in the world if not the highest, that should also be a brain related power right? So for the loss of a more āfantasyā oriented power our Mc gains the most intelligent brain in the planet, the story is great as it is though, donāt try to make it too complex, else you lose your view of it and donāt know where to go with it anymore, also what are your personal stats and strategy? To me a confident insightful was the most enjoyable, itās also how I am in real life, I chose interpersonal only once, it feels the least āethicalā so manipulating peopleā¦ yeah not for me, also I think ambrosia is also an insightful so extra points if you want to impress/romance her, though I immediately went for the best friend route, itās very sweet how the relationship between our Mc and her develops, I recently lost Puma, a gray stray cat that I adopted since he was but a child, he was the best friend I ever had, slept together with me, said hi to me whenever I arrived at home, always seeked me to play and get petted, sometimes I would wake up and Puma would be hugging my leg with something Iām sure was a cat smile, I loved him, he loved me, never in my life I felt like that, humans are sometimes overrated, so it hit me very hard when he passed away, and your story was just what I needed, Iām an only child so I canāt relate to mcās brother, but Iāve always had lots of love from my parents so I can relate to that, still, my heart still aches for my loss, reading the story about our mcās friendship with Sally made me so happy and gave āhopeā that such a person can be found in our lives, yet, I still chose to romance her, because if I ever met a woman like that, I for sure would try to stay with her, forever, as a partner.

Santa ruffles your hair and gestures beneath the tree, where thereās a package suspiciously shaped like a best friend.
And now all I can think about is evil Santa putting kids in packages and sending them wherever he wishesā¦ most probably somewhere far far away from their home (the horror!).

I wanted there to be some replayablity despite how short the story is, so the toys you select at the beginning set stats and change some text (like how Button plans to trap Santa). Iād completely forgotten that ābest friendā was an option when I wrote the present-you-wished-for-in-the-past appearing under the tree bit, and only discovered it when test playing. 
It amused me enough that I kept it in, and my head canon is that the child-sized gift is actually a boxed pogo stick (John and Hope really tried to compensate with āfunā presents this year, after experiencing Buttonās open disgust for educational toys).

Yeah, I was. My acceptance percent was in the high 90ās, and I donāt remember which choice it was, but it bumped me up to 102%. I know Fairmath doesnāt like numbers exceeding 0 or a 100, so I was a little concerned at that time lol.
But itās the fact that I knew that Fairmath would be a problem at the time but didnāt realize that until long after is why I felt so dumb 
I literally went āAH!ā and laughed at myself while restarting my game. It was a real scatterbrained moment of realization lmao

Friday Progress and Patreon Reveal!
I did it, guys!
As the new year begins, I want to thank everyone for your incredible support and feedback. I also laugh at my past self who thought it would be ālike, totally possibleā to finish Mind Blind by January (oh, that sweet, naive summer child),
My (much more achievable) New Yearās resolution is to submit Mind Blind to Hosted Games by the end of 2021! I have over 200,000 words in my personal demo (which I started writing around six months ago), and a year should be enough time to reach my goal wordcount of 500,000 plus do an intensive edit.
Having financial wiggle room to teach only five days a week as opposed to my current six would be immeasurably helpful in completing Mind Blind, so Iāve opened a Patreon for anyone whoās interested in MB short stories and behind-the-scenes peaks! Iāll also be posting other writing that isnāt directly MB-related there (like my completed manuscript, Lady Deathās Diary ).
. . . Whew. Iāll be honest, opening a Patreon makes me nervous. I hadnāt planned to open one until MB was fully released, but I also vastly underestimated how much work goes into creating interactive fiction. It was always a mystery to me while IF wasnāt more mainstream, but now I get it. Interactive Fiction is a completely different beast than writing a novel.

As someone who just jumped right into the demo without reading anything else, Iām happy to see that the premise is well-explained and very clear. Also I love the variety of responses you can give to different scenarios even if it gets hard to keep track of what is in character for you if you leave it and come back for a while. Look forward to updates!

Ye, āNohā one know their name is exactly. Ppl just calling them Noh bc of their mask.
So far that we know they were that creepy person wearing mask in train route.
But, if they indeed the reason Nick in coma, let Noh know, I just want to talk real quick

I went to bed last night, and my final thought before falling asleep was that Mind Blind has both the BFB (best friendās brother) and the BBF (brotherās best friend) tropes, and Iām here for that.
EDIT: And the BFF trope, wow it hits all the Bs and Fs in tropes.

Bug report? I say this only cause I didnāt hit Next but instead tried to load up a previous save file, so I donāt know if anyone else would get this but me. If this is just a weird bug on my end, then feel free to ignore it!

Tried to replicate the error ā¦ and got an entirely new one?
Iām not entirely sure what could be causing both errors, but both times I tried to reload a previous save file.
