Update!! This week was a bit hectic so I’m extremely sorry for the lack of words written, as many of you know I’m rewriting the book but also slowly progressing forward as well. With that in mind, let’s jump into what was achieved!
2k words were written. Arbiters were vaguely introduced.
Blaine’s short story is in works where it’s just them rambling about how adorable the MC is, while trying to appear as if he doesn’t care.
A lot of changes were made to the first chapter, with more to come!
Sorry about not updating yesterday! Kinda had a power outage due to storm but things are back to normal! So, let’s see what we accomplished this week:
Editing mostly! About 1.5k words were written
Full word count: 161,373. Why is it lower than before? I kinda removed a lot of things in it in the beginning so that people can read more smoothly. I don’t want to bombard people with lore the moment they open the book.

Sorry for not replying here but yeh! I’ve been working on a Patreon Short story, and as you all know, I do these lucky draws where two lucky members (Who post a comment) can get to read it. It’s not much, just Blaine’s rambling as he/she try their best to maintain a neutral face while talking to the MC. Lots of sweet moments (Actually this whole story is nothing but sweet XD)
This was… also not a good week, not in terms of writing but mostly since I was plagued with sickness, good thing that I got off work for a few days! Bad for the book, but I still wrote!
The patreon short story has been completed! I just need to polish it a bit.The whole story is at 4,500 words with 3,500 words per read through. I promised it won’t be interactive fiction but since it involves the MC, I needed to give two option with two endings. You guys will see it later in the future, but not from Blaine’s perspective.
A LOOOOOTTTTT of things were edited. You no longer can choose where to go in the first chapter, the path will be linear, yes, but the choices that you choose will have an impact. The purpose of the first chapter was to show the MC’s parents, Vigil and the Orphanage’s environment and I feel I nailed the MC’s parents but not the Orphanage, I’m still working on it for now.
I think 3K words were written? I’m not too sure since I wasn’t tracking. The whole book is at 163,000 words (With I think almost 1-2K words deleted.)
As of now, the whole book stands at 163K. My goal for next week, should I be alive and also no sickness befell upon me, would be to reach at 166K.
“Whispers under the moon” is now completed! It’s not massive, but it’s pure fluff, mostly Blaine just rambling and getting jealous over the smallest things lol

Had another black out due to the storm Dw though, I told ya’ll there won’t be any excuses next time, so instead I wrote about 1.2K words on my phone lmao, it’s fun when you’re writing next to your window, listening to rain and thunder, Kinda mood.
About 3K words were written, mostly just rewrites but also Valentine and Blaine at each other’s throat. Things are getting complicated. How are you going to calm each other down? (Only works if Blaine has the slightest attraction to you though, or you haven’t been an A-hole to Blaine publicly ofc (Looks at Blain’s haters )
The game is now at 166K words, with almost 4-5K words deleted. (Would’ve been at 170K if they weren’t deleted, but as I said, I’m trying to increase the quality and not the quantity.)
@Kathy Is there poly or can you only romance one RO? Also, did one of the RO changed? This is my first time playing and I haven’t gotten far yet as of this text but it mentioned that the ROs are a werewolf, vampire and a human but the childhood friend feels like they might be a RO so did something change without me knowing?
@Silly_Cat_69 I noticed that in the scene where you are in the weapon room choosing some options, when I got to the knife option and picked the Bowie Knife, instead of showing my character testing out and buying the weapon, it immediately skipped to the scene where Sagittarius and Kate came back from a mission. I wasn’t even done browsing yet and it doesn’t even show the knife in my inventory.
Oh, you can romance multiple (or technically you can romance all the RO’s)

Ah yes, the book is going through a rewrite so that the orphanage is shown a bit more, and what’s taught in it. The knife part can’t be fixed atm, since that whole thing will be deleted and you can purchase thing earlier in the game. Hopefully the update will be next month (I hope since my exams are on 15th and I’m still churning out 1.1K words a day on average while working on Femboy Dating Simulator (My goal is advancing at least, atleast 3K word every week, which may decrease during my exams) Additionally, there will be another RO totaling 4 RO’s instead of 3
Okay, so, this week has been EXTREMELY productive. I hope that the weeks coming on will be just as productive (I know, I know, I have exams, but I’m prepared for them! I promise! (Or well, preparing for them ;-; )) But anyways!
Introducing a new character! Good lord, This one’s friggin hawt He’s kind, he’s soft, but by god, he’s a MAN. Romancing him will be rough since he’s close to 30 (I won’t reveal his true age due to spoilers) But since you’re in your early teens (Idc if he’s “Daddy material”) He’s going to be reluctant to engage with you UNLESS you’re EXTREMELY persistent. Also yer vampires, so age doesn’t matt- siren noises AGE DOESN’T MATTER UNLESS YOU’RE BELOW 18. EVERY CHARACTER HERE ISN’T JUST ABOVE 18, THEY’RE ABOVE 20!!

As I said before, the game won’t care if you’re shy or dominant. If you choose a shy route with John (Yep, that’s the character’s name.) things will be a bit more spicy if you’re dominant. Lots of internal monolouging. I wonder if you guys will catch John’s symbolism. I wonder if you caught every character’s symbolism and what I want to portray through them XD
That’s pretty much it! As of now, the book stands at… drum roll 169K (I need to grow up.)
Plans for next week is to take it to 172 and tell of the world without it being an information dump. You’ll SLOWWWLY know of the world, but only what you’re supposed to know at a specific time. See you guys next week!! <3
I’ve played into a bit of chapter 2 so far and I’m really enjoying the entire thing, from the premise to the pain. I adored and fell for the childhood friend bit and its devastating to see where we are now. I’m looking forward to seeing just how messed up we can let ourselves be. For some reason, losing Hayes struck harder than the parents.

Thank you! I’m doing a rewrite of the first chapter so you can choose how you’re coping with the separation of your parents, and also add a little insight on what Nathan made the MC go through. Will you be a tearful mess, cold person or will all this strengthen you?
The second chapter will, of course, reinforce your choices from previous ones (If you chose to be strong and start choosing choices that make you break down, it’ll only make the others more concerned for you etc. This’ll the RO’s lean towards being with you more and care for you more) (Hence why I couldn’t update this month and prolly next month (The public version anyways) )
