haha… funny… if mc had a daughter, hes old bestfriend would ask for her hand, with a small dowry too… did you ever deny him that cuz it would be scandalous? well i dont know what you did but i didn’t… besides, a lot of people throughout history has married younger people… but alas, i see your point too… still, would have wanted a kingdom than an earldom… maybe in LA3…
Sir Arthur ask your sister not your daughter.
And he was a widower, so he was free to marry again.
Unless you want to kill your wife to marry the queen, that’s very wicked man.
oh sister, sorry… haha… but still, the age gap would have been high… anyway, without hindsight, 25 years of being a bachelor would be a bad move for a up and coming earldom, i know… it’s just wishful thinking for me at best… why didn’t i get the widower treatment huh author??.. haha… ill shut up now… i’ll just take my frustrations in crusader kings 2…
Common man, how can you wish for Marguerite dies? She deserve doesn’t derserves it :’(
Just played it amazing game
how do you get all barony? and how many can you ge?t i got dumas Oxbridge
Baron of Steminster: at the first hastilude you need to act as a motivador in the mock battle, need 60 something of Courtesy and Valour.
Baron of Darrow: at the second hastilude you need to defeat the King (you cant support Augustine), you need 70 of Valour to defeat him.
Protector of Dumas: have sex with Marguerite at the feast to have a bastard son, marry her, say to the king you want to reclaim Dumas for your child and defeat the Viscount of Dumas.
Baron of Oxbridge: support the claim of Stephen to the throne, go after Augustine and win the siege.
Do you want a guide to get the stats?
No thanks figured out how to get the best possible stat beforehand.
The real question here is guys how do we get the balance to status to be chancellor!
Hi Goshman. I just wanted to say that of all the stories cog has put out I’ve found Lords of Aswick to be my favourite. To me it was the most stylistically rewarding, and you’ve created something that encourages a much deeper level of involvement than lots of authors can manage. I enjoyed the barony mechanic, the delineation of the story (I know, but it was much more than skin deep in your narrative), and to be honest, just loved counting my gold and going off in my old age to arrogantly lose a tourney. This post comes over as a bit fan-like, but yeah, I guess I’m a fan.
This. Haven’t ever seen a proper guide made for this particular obstacle.
I think its because no one have been able to achieve it.
I’ve done it once before, although I couldn’t tell you what I did to achieve it.
I did manage to achieve it once, however the only detail I remember was I sided with Augustine and was her consort.
I doubt you were the consort of the Queen, because there is no option ti be her consort.
You can only be her lover.
It is a very difficult balancing act to get the Chancellor. You really need to peek into the code or know the story backwards and forwards to get the title.
When I ramp up to the sequel, I am going to go back to it and see if I can figure it out and make sure it’s obtainable without crippling the MC or yourself.
Is it also possible to join the Crusades witbout losing the war?
No. Either you win the war and stay in politics there, die a fairly horrific death, or find yourself banished to join the crusading monks.
What is the sequel going to be like? When do you THINK it might be ready for a beta? How do you become Lord High Chancellor with Stephen? Can you won’t he tourney in old age? Could you make an update to let us upgrade our infrastructure to as many projects as we want? Limited only by money instead of: “You only have enough time to make two upgrades”.
In the sequel your character is sent to the church and becomes a member of the clergy.
