Hey everyone, I’M STILL LOOKING FOR TESTERS! I think the game has just reached a new level. I’m starting to think more about polishing out any errors and less about adding new content. At the 150k mark, I think it’s a good size and most options are represented.
I’ll still listen to suggestions though, but I’m starting to think more about finishing it up and releasing it than adding more stuff to it. I’d love to take on more testers and I’d love to hear more from the wonderful testers currently reading.
@Lucid, for what it’s worth, I agree. It’s a great read and when I when I beta tested it a few weeks ago, I thought “wow this is pretty much ready to roll.” I think a lot of folks fall victim to the “just one more change!” syndrome.
I would love to join the beta but between finals week approaching and surgery right after that I’m paranoid I’d accidentally become one of the people to take the game and run. I am really excited though and can’t wait for when I do get to play it.
Life of a Mobster will be released under the Hosted Games label. I wrote it in the same style as Life of a Wizard. Although this style is well liked by my fans, COG has a specific aesthetic vision for their games. They have been very supportive with my works and I look forward to publishing Life of a Mobster as a Hosted Game.
