I also can tell that MHA was a major influence, almost exactly to the narrative and characters/their personalities.
• Some of the things I noticed when playing was it was hard to determine who was talking at times, especially when it was a conversation within group of people. (The scene that stood out the most to me was when the class was going over their rankings.)
• A lot of the interaction with the ROs was difficult to determine if I was just being friendly or flirting. (Example: when running into Luca in the hallway after his meeting with Citadel, you can tell them to “stop”)
• Also the story ends abruptly due to an error in the code it seems.

I’ve been having an issue with that subroutine- the gosub issue - and I honestly don’t know how to correctly solve it, but I am working on it.

I appreciate you bringing this up and I’m really glad you’re enjoying the story. 
Its been mentioned before that there are similarities between Exordium and MHA. I will readily admit I drew inspiration from the IP when creating this project, however, I would not say its ‘taken almost word for word’ from it.
Immediate similarities:
-
Over several characters have easily identifiable counterparts in MHA
-
Five scenes - the beach, practical exam, ability assessment, heroes versus villains, and Luca’s confession
Aside from that, the hero institutions and licenses are something that’s appeared in other works of fiction.
I do plan to address the above once the project is complete since I don’t want to be changing existing scenes as the project is ongoing since it’ll lead to a delay with upcoming updates.

I think I got a looping bug, was in chapter 6 going onto chapter 7 when it looped back to the hero vs villain mock battle

NB: Whenever I announce an update and it includes changes to previous chapters, then please restart your playthrough since it will lead to instances where you miss text in later chapters.

Any idea when chapter 8 will be available because you said that you wanted to add an investigation scene?

Probably sometime next week since I’m trying to make the investigation scene as in-depth as possible by going more for input texts than choices, so making sure everything works will take a bit of time.

will there be branching possibilities with the investigation like if you pursue one avenue of the investigation it leads to nothing but if you do another you find something

So I know this is more speculative towards the future of the series but if this does pull inspiration from MHA and Teen Titans then I’m scared knowing there might possibly be a War Arc situation like in the MHA Manga or a Judas Contract situation like in the OG Teen Titans comics, and if we get somewhat of both then oooooh boy, all the PC’s are really in for a rollercoaster of emotions

I will say that although Exordium is planned to be 13 chapters or so, though its because the sequel’s length will put the meat in meaty. So I want the first and last entry into the series to be relatively short in comparison.
Aside from that, I will try to get you emotional later in Exordium and the future.
