Hmm. I have low levels of interest in kitsune, but high levels of interest in games by Thom Baylay… I think this one will be taking my money.

Summary
- For Devon, definitely not final at all in any direction. Everything else is open to change later. This is meant as a one-sided crush and more a character choice than a story choice. The only finalised choices in Chapter 1 are things like gender, name and sexual preference. Also, typo fixed but this won’t be immediately updated in the demo. Thanks for flagging!
- For the personality, I like the idea and might tweak to reinforce a little, but the stats are intentionally locked from 47-53 in Chapter 1 so they won’t go higher or lower than that at this time.
@Kirlett if you aren’t sure, I’d go for the option to choose. The only genders that get randomised are the 4 ROs. If you specify a preference then at least 2 ROs will definitely be your preference (the dream stranger and the office royal). Like a lot of games with romance as a central aspect, the ROs make up most of the core cast, so I wanted to give the option to diversify if preferred, rather than forcing a Harem situation.
@Tarlonniel I plan to make this a bit of a different take on more traditional kitsune stories so hopefully you’ll find something to enjoy

First thing first please add save slots and a lotta them not just three or something
Second, its very fun so far. Stats don’t change or change very slowly tho, me going from 51% to 49% of humor-sincerity feels weird and I don’t really understand why that happens even: like, I picked 'I wanted some more serious friends" because I’ve thought it’ll show that I’m not that serious and wanted someone who is, but apparently it removed my humor stat up .

I’ve had a look and making that choice definitely lowers humour. It doesn’t lower it by much though, and the tiny personality changes are intentional. There are reasons for this. It’s only chapter 1 remember
Sorry, for now I have no plans to add saves as it’s only meant as a demo. When I eventually get to a beta reading stage, I will potentially look at save options for that.

The corporate royal, seems like the ice prince we’d need to defrost. Normally I do like that kind of thing, however he is the mc’s boss and due to expensive hospital bills and no degree or other immediate career prospects I don’t see a viable path to that romance for my mc as the risks, should anything go wrong are simply too great, particularly since romancing him might get the mc on the radar of their deadbeat father, which can only be bad news
The nurse and the best friend both seem cute, the however their first impressions are dedicated and cute instead of sexy, so it is too soon for me to even guess what their romantic vibes would be like.

I don’t know much about traditional kitsune stories - or traditional kitsune anything, except that they’re fox-related and have a lot of tails - so you have plenty of room to entertain and surprise me. I look forward to it!

I can’t wait for more! I’m an avid fan of both The Grim and I and the Evertree saga so I don’t even need a synopsis at this point, I’m prepped and ready, lol. Of course, the plot interests me anyhow.

Idk. It would be awfully chaotic and fey creature esq to make yourself not know you were a chaotic shape shifting fox spirit and actually just a human. Then in 50 years you wake up and remember and then imagine all the people to take vengeance against.
