Stab tends to be a word that indicates that the weapon being used is one that pierces through the skin. Since it is the pommel of the dagger that the Second Prince was being struck with (not the blade itself) the wording also feels odd to me.
It makes more sense to say that the Second prince was struck with the pommel rather than stabbed (unless that pommel has a sharp end that i am not aware of).
Yes, Melissa’s behavior does come off as abrupt and odd, especially since nothing really seems to be enough grounds due to it being more the beginning of a undefined relationship with Sophia. Maybe it could be justified in my own Prince’s case since, while he made no comments about Sophia’s beauty and just was (wish there was a option to avoid that talk altogether), Melissa could interpreted him drinking from Sophia’s cup as something intimate (I know some consider drinking from the same cup as someone else a indirect kiss). But I’m still unsure if that alone would be enough grounds to already trigger feelings a jealousy.
Due to it not possibly being hinted at in some way, it still feels really abrupt to me. There doesn’t even seem any reason for Melissa to be approaching Sophia for a talk to begin with or a indication that Melissa may have followed Sophia (unless we’re going to be given a option on where to go and one option leading to the Second Prince spotting Melissa and Sophia interacting and also being given a choice to stop it). My opinion of course.
Also wanted to bring up the possible idea of having a different ways to handle different situations. Like in the scene with Sophia being wary about the food, you could have not only Perception to notice that is possibly making her wary, but maybe also Charisma to make her more willing to talk about what may be bothering her a bit with her food. It tends to be more interesting for a player to be given more than one way to deal with certain situations.
I have a particular love for characters who are able to deal with issues with skill and intelligence rather than brute force and intimidation, since it feels a good deal more interesting and rewarding. I also enjoy the fact that it is often harder for a person to counter actions that are handled with skill and intelligence more often than not (especially if the person trying to do the countering is doing so with more forceful means)
And like I said before, I want to make my Second Prince as much contrast to the rest of his family as possible. Feels like it makes him more of a interesting character.
(I used to consider Arlan’s Intelligence stat not only being linked to him having a good deal of understanding in a multitude of matters due to insatiable curiosity and love for learning ,including nature ones, but since Intelligence has become a split stat…)
wow…I can finally sleep without wake up and read 100 replies!!
PD: @Centralrouge I recommend you Lords of aswick, doomsday in demand ( that game have my zeal and is one of the best games here ) and Hero of kendrist
If that the case, at least mc should have more blood loss, so I think stab a bit weird (but then again, I uncertain since there no mention about injury Kris/Kridus caused)
And darvis certainly could use more charismatic people aside from queen victoria that use it for her own gain
I myself also still have hard time when choosing Knowledge
Did Melissa and Marxus ever consummate their marriage?
I’m thinking that if they didn’t it may be a valid reason for an annulment between Marxus and Melissa and would explain why they have no children together.
Kill him, or why I would be better king? I’ll answer both. He is married to Melissa and if he dies she is single (if Clithus dies and Sophia kills herself Im also single). He doesnt know much about diplomacy
