You don’t need a guide. Altair and Cyrus will come up and ask the MC if they want to look at some pets. MC will have the option to tag along or wander around.

Once again thanks for the help but I’m still having trouble I haven’t gotten asked to look at them I’m probably doing something wrong can you tell me the chapter that they ask the MC or if there is a requirement

I would just like to know if the Frost Bear would be a pet option in the final build of the game or has it been removed? I just love the idea of my Ice based Magi having a frosty friend to back him up

What is sanity for?
The author has said multiple times on her blog that the only available pet options are Hellhound, Phantom Cat, and Dragon. I think it’s safe to assume it won’t be in the final game.
From what I’ve seen the sanity stat changes how MC kills Reyna in the final battle. I think it’ll just add flavor text. The more hard-working and stressed out the MC is, the more it’ll take a toll on their sanity.

Quick question, what are the stats or conditions to use control magic and not failing? Also to have a more cruel inclined mc? (I’ve been trying to get my mc to be more into the dark side and see where it goes but it appears, kindness is her thing lol)

Does anyone have a build for a drakaina focused on shapeshifting and overall dragon badassery?I’m really lost with the stats
Pretty sure shapeshifting falls under the fighting stat, so maybe try bumping that up. Also I’m not sure if I’m misremembering or the author actually said this but IIRC the author said we would have more opportunities to learn shifting in the second book.
@daydreamsincolor I’ve just replayed the game a few times and found some bugs. I’m not sure if they’ve been reported but here they are. I’m really sorry i can’t post screenshots here for some reason it keeps telling me i can’t post images in a post so please bear with my descriptions.
Bugs
I’m not completely sure about this one but i think there might be a bug when we fight the drake in chapter 8. I was playing a cambion and has 10 fighting so when i choose the fighting option i should’ve at least made it through the exam but i end up dying.
I don’t remeber which chapter it comes from but in the scene where we asked Sera to pet Briseis there was a sentence that repeated twice:"“Katia and Gisela are supposed to be here soon,” she says, sitting down on the couch. Briseis crawls into her lap."
In the scene where we questioned director Castella the first time they were talking about Lara Delacroix so shouldn’t Sera said great-grandmother instead?: “Did my grandmother ever speak to you about specific funding desires?”. Unless i misread the scene or something.
When investigating the masscre with Sera, I choose to break in successfully by telekinesis but my relationship with Sera still went down even though it went up when i choose to climb up successfully. Maybe Sera got something against telekinesis? lol

Hey, im trying to do a ``Lee`` from Naruto like run, where i have no magic at all and just have physical and cunning, would that work? ive heard the fighting stat is not that good in this game.
Speaking as the guy who coined the term “punch mage”, it’s pretty doable. You don’t need to bother with any of the magical stats, so you can minmax physical and other relevant stats far more easily than if you had magic. I would recommend keeping willpower high too; you won’t be using it offensively, but it’s very important for defence. There’s also a hunter sub-plot which is very useful for getting extra training; I don’t know how well a no-magic run could go without this.

Honestly yeah. My first playthrough I punched EVERYTHING. Its absolutely hilarious and my MC refused all magic. It was just too much for him and he wanted to be normal.
