@resuri08 lol that explains it if it’s hidden then never affected my playthroughs one way or another. Now that’s it’s there im curious what it takes to make a visible showing in game affects.
It’s a hidden stat, it doesn’t appear for anyone.
this is long
This was awesome! I can barely put into words how much I love Astrid’s route. I never knew it was possible to care so much for a person (see what I did there?) I’d have locked her in a hug so many times, which I just imagine in because I can’t imagine MC not doing it with teary eyes after seeing her memories. Or after she took a damned knife for us. Or finally moved on about Davina. Or after she said “hey”. Also from reading book one again, Astrid mentions she had a falling out with Reyna, damn.
Combat feels so nice, fighting stat always felt a bit on the weaker side first book, but now it really packs a punch, I just got a bit confused if it’s supposed to be both martial arts and athleticism, since there’s that scene where you can have focused on one over the other. Haven’t yet tried the other routes though, still on my first playthrough.
Drakaina also feels good, even though the other presumed effects of it weren’t felt much? finally turning into a dragon was awesome, but we were rather small right? I wonder if we got significantly bigger by the time we fight at the Forest (also, I turned into a dragon but like, unturned, not sure about that, instead of picking “dragon stuff” I just decided to uh, last option, and then it didn’t really get mentioned again so), as well as any continuation on what’s up with the whole race and all the weird looks we could get because it’s an experiment and all, since I don’t think we get anything significant after meeting the “oh you’re a Drakaina how cool” guy.
Also, is Dominic really a keeper? I’m guessing he is because of Brant saying Frostbite needed one, so I was misled into thinking Marcela, with either she was “made” keeper by them or maybe they already knew about her, but once he admits working for Frostbite, it’s pretty easy to see him being one as well.
Finally, I have to say this is absolutely amazing and I love it, the improvements from book one to two were great and I did feel like getting stronger. Its also interesting that it felt like a lot less pressure to improve in many areas, or at least it felt clearer about what was going to improve, I ended up with 89 fighting and some 50 elem manip, which makes me think if I should have gone for training everything else since everything above a certain reasonable mark is probably overkill, at least usually.
TL;DR: Thank your for Astrid route, looking forward to book 3
@idonthaveagooduse lol I know it’s hidden but what I meant was if there was a noticable difference in game because of it.
There is, yeah. In the first book, if you choose to kill Reyna and have low sanity, the MC would like, lose their mind, and the suitemates will need to take them off her. In the second book, if you have high sanity, on the last scene in the forest, when you get to your RO’s illusion, you could choose that you know it isn’t them.
There might be more, but I think those are the most noticeable ones.
Good to know lol always tended when I did do that option had them allways having to pull off the mc. Also explains that option in the second book being greyed out.
Hello. I have a bunch of questions, posted some of them, but I think I posted them in the first books thread, which would actually make sense considering the amount of people telling me spoiler warnings.
Who is a re-one’s favourite RO, and for what reason? What is everyone’s favourite path, and for what reason. How can you kill Dominic, whenever I play it’s always Grade out.
How do you get the achievements about learning secrets of the Nephilim, Campion, Hunter, and human factions. Someone said something about truth serum, but I’ve never seen an option with that’s available. Is it a stat check? If so, what is it, and how do you get stat I guess?
What’s everyone’s favourite degree? Major? I think they’re kind of the same thing? Either way, that.
To have the option available, you need to have your Kind stat less than or equal to 40 and chosen to be against Dominic. However, whatever your intelligence stat is, he will always get away. In other words, you can’t kill him.
If you choose to fight him with Marcela, you can still try to kill him but she stops you and you can still keep him from getting away
for all the faction secrets except for the hunters, you need To except the offer of joining them in I think chapter 5 or chapter 6, 30 cunning bye I think chapter 10 and the option to use truth serum will appear. For the hunter secret, I think it just comes naturally if you have 25 cunning or above
For the truth potion, you are correct that you need cunning 30 and above. It will be on Chapter 11 though. All these secrets makes me want to make another Keeper with high cunning. I don’t feel like my canon Keeper will be in-character to make cunning or political moves.
@daydreamsincolor will cambion MCs be able to summon hellfire?
I would like a chance to reconcile with Marcela. I alway feel a bit odd considering i have over 70 relationship with her then it plummet to 40 when i chose to fight both her and Dominic i was really hoping to apologize and explain my reason to her. Only when i read the code that i know there’s a scene with Marcela if you have 50 relationship or more. Oh and of course a Dominic redemption arc would be nice ![]()
I personally enjoyed Seraphinas route the best. (Disclaimer never done the males LI) her story I feel has more impact to 'your" story because of the family she belongs to. And if you do the single mom,and play as a kitsune there’s more drama that hasn’t unfolded in b2 I won’t explain why or what that is but it’s worth the read that’s for sure.
Runner up but by much is Astrids.i played her route as a Dragonkin (believe that’s the right spelling) but that was my first playthrough. I hear you play as a
cambion the story and LI plays out vastly different I will do that on a later date.
I haven’t gotten far in Thaila’s route as I’m trying very hard to get into hers playing as a plan ok human.why you may ask? Because i kinda want to see if she will try to make me dinner one day because it’s been stated not many survive being with a siren. So despite being the romance for that playthrough I want to see what happens to poor ok human boi lol (morbid I know lol)
Same question what’s yours and why? And everyone else for that matter I do love hearing other people opinions and preference s
I did Faley as rude as a magician, and from what I got, I don’t think she would make you dinner. Despite appearances, yeah I highly doubt it. Might like ask you to drain some of your blood into a glass, but actually eating you? Yeah, I doubt it.
Besides, she probably think it would set a poor example for her kids sister, and trust me, once you get past the denial stage, she really really wants to set a good example for the kid
Oh wait, my bad, I didn’t play as a magician, I played as a hunter. I think? One are the two anyway…
Doubled by the fact that she goes ballistic when her sister tries to drink MC‘s blood
No matter who we pick for our parents, do Isabella and Roxana still take part in the constellation project? Or as a broader question does every event we learn about carry over no matter who our parents are?
Spoilers for kitsune route:
I really want to know if Sera’s mom (I forgot her name) dies in any route that isn’t kitsune, we aren’t able to save her in any other way, so either she is stuck as the guardian of the forest or while trying to astral project her soul got torn to pieces
Yes. The whole reason Roxana assissted with the Delacroix massacre is because Isabella was forced into the Constellation Project. That would imply that regardless of the parent route you take, all the parents have set backstories. The only difference is who actually had the keeper child, which would be based on who your parent is. The others still took part in the project, but didn’t have children who are keepers.
My assumption is that Lillian is still stuck as the forest guardian if you don’t go on the kitsune route. MC being a kitsune doesn’t change the fact that she got stuck as the forest guardian, since that was a result of the Delacroix Massacre. I think the only thing that changes is whether she stays stuck as the guardian or finally gets a human body.
If MC isn’t a kitsune, one of the illusions in chapter 12 indicates that she reached out to Marcela instead.
I am a little unclear on Sirens. Do they just drink your blood, or they physically eat the flesh of their victims. Might be clearer, but I was never able to tell.
Yeah you’re right, with that 13 tailed fox that Marcella chases. I want to buy the name sounded familiar? Now I’m gonna have to rewrite a Kitsune to see if what replace it if anything. Need to replay the game a couple more times anyway.
