If given the choice, i would rather have my Keeper fake their death and just leave NMC for good. i don’t think my Keeper has the energy and willpower to be an active participant in the bloody landline called politics. That said, i don’t think they would mind giving a nudge here and there just to accelerate having the whole NMC implode on itself. (with them being as far as they can be from that mess)

Which brings me to 3) Which is the point I have mentioned earlier if he can get rehabilitated he can actually help my mc shoulder the whole damned keeper thing since my mc is extremely likely to kill Nessa for what she did to him and Marcela, whether she lives or not, is not really up to the job, whereas Dominic, if he can be rehabilitated and un-brainwashed would be and with Akira dead, Nessa extremely likely to be soon to follow and Marcela not being up to the job he also really is the only option.
Like I said being a keeper is a lifelong punishment in and of itself and my mc would prefer to not be the only one to have to bear it and, yes, Dominic being hot would help in drawing media attention away from the mc in such a future and, yes, my mc would like to shift as much as he can of the celebrity bullshit onto Dominic in such a future. So sparing him would not be entirely altruistic on the part of my mc.
Nessa is going down for what she did to my mc! Akira seems to already be dead and Marcela doesn’t matter very much she can’t really handle the job and the spotlight of being a keeper, so whether or not she lives doesn’t change very much, although my mc would be inclined to spare her if possible. Only unlike, a potential future un-brainwashed, Dominic I don’t see her ever providing much relief from the most annoying parts of being a keeper for my mc, ever.

Yeah claiming either artifact seems like a major gamble in general, even for the most capable keepers, and given how MC’s mental health is- well cratering seems too soft honestly, they’re just not healthy mentally, and Marcella is relatively weak, neither of them should get near the moon.
Then again, I do need it for my ultimate godhood plan, and I do like having a matching set…
Sera can call me a monster for not helping at the end but I’m not going unnecessarily get people killed for someone who probably definitely dead all this time. There’s no guarantee it will even work if they get everything ready in time. Staying away from keeper worship regardless of powerful they were in past. At least the psychic knew it would be worse to force it
I have seen the friends in this book turn on you as soon as you try and move away from your keeper role, Katia, Gisela(consider this one an unpleasant acquaintance frankly) and now Sera, this is especially so with nymphs.
I maybe wrong but it is my personal opinion but it seems a lot like we have suffered and are bound by our role so you should be too else fcuk you.

Yep I already called her out for the official mission. Everyone else is chill apart from those 3. Sera just officially gave me a reason to stay away. I’m only killing frostbite people for obvious reasons but that’s where I draw the line. If they need a keeper so badly make the other actually do her job for once instead running away scot free unlike us if we try.

I don’t know if this has been reported, but even after the mum died, you still get scenes with her. I’m doing this one playthrough right now where the mum died, MC refused therapy, he doesn’t read the poem Katia gives him, told Davina that he is going to kill her, is deadset on revenge with Nessa and frostbite and “ready to watch the world burn - You are going to destroy everyone who wronged you.”, but somehow the mental health is 68%. When I broke up with Yakov though, it is 62%, and that’s much higher than it should be, imo, lol.
Also in the dream world, when Thalia says for your first child to be named after her, my male MC who’s dating a man was blushing. And it had confused me because a few scenes later, the baby was born, and she looked like a tiny Yakov, and also had MC’s eyes. So in that part, it had felt like the writing was copy-pasted from the female MC who had given birth. I saw a brief explanation much later that this was a magical process for the male MC, but I think that should have been in the scene where the daughter was born.
You know, I never understood why they fear the mc for killing those that harm the innocent but when is MC’s predecessor Brant delacroix or I think that his name is mentioned, there all kiss ass how swell a guy he is even when in secret he compelled Seraphina, when he was having an affair, is it like MC get heat just because they don’t hide some of they actions like Brant or was Brant just that intimidating that people won’t expose him even though he is dead
