Just adding to the “railroaded mental breakdown” discussion, personally I don’t mind it that much, it makes sense, but in the demo I find it very easy to keep the Keeper’s mental health high(above 50% for pretty much the whole game). I think it would make more sense if there are high mental health variations of the breakdown scenes where your Keeper is still not okay but isn’t just completely unraveling, and more importantly imo their internal monologue shouldn’t be as bad as it is because they’re in a way better position mentally. Like I don’t see a Keeper with 68% mental health and over 65% logical in the second game having a breakdown and crying uncontrollably when Julian kidnaps their parent/s, they should be able to contain their feelings and actually help their friends with planning the rescue.

A demon who somehow got or remained free, a real one. At least that is my guess. Fortunately she’s the friendly one out of Alty’s parents. And why Alty is so damned powerful since it would make him in effect a first generation cambion and half demon himself.

Up until now there is no option to kill Marcela right? Cause if I remember right, when I tried to kill her in book 2 some dragon entity (family heirloom/guardian? I think) ended up saving her, which I am guessing was plot armour.

Since I think she is probably the only one who could end up being an obstacle in the route to world domination. Unless of course there is a path where she chooses to stay out of our way

Update 10/25/25

Hi everyone! Just posted the latest demo update with ~77k words of new content. Most of the new content is the garden arc of Chapter 10 featuring Katia, Sera, and Marcela.
