This update was absolutely gut-wrenching, I salute you, author. Chapter 8 gave me WandaVision vibes, you know, with the whole fake dream life thing. And how it all just fades awayā¦ Not to mention that MC considers what happened in the dream as memories. Memories of things that never happened. This chapter was basically just angst and depression condensed into words. 10/10.

From the first two games, my poor MC is kept sane by Sera and his new pet dragon and some versions of him still poison her boss to protect her. Heās not going to have a good time once his playthroughs move forward, it seems.

My MC has Yakov and human hunters helping him. He started using compulsion much more in Book 2, but hey, he can manage. I havenāt checked his sanity, but Iām sure itās alright.

A question im wondering, what does Katia mean āthis isnt youā (during her romance), i thought she was pissed about my cruelty level but it seems deeper.
Do you think the sun artifact is slowly taking controlling us? Like do you think theres a deity within the artifact itself?

Depend if we have it or not. If we did snatch it entirely, maybe. If not, there could likely be residual affects.
Though there may have been a deity in the artifact itself, which would very likely explain the whole āNothing to See Hereā option and forced happiness.

If there is it would be the same for the moon since they are both bad news and should be left the hell alone. The fact we get controlled by the sun regardless of willpower is the only proof I need of a deity involved with it. I plan on destroying it since itās so dangerous and power like that shouldnāt exist in my opinion

That would be the smart thing to do however im power hungry 
i made my keeper learn to control it. So far they can touch it without going crazy, maybe itll get easier? If it doesnt work out ill destory it (i hope i get the option anyway)

Man what an amazing and heartbreaking chapter i really love it and all the add ons to the previous chapters. On a much lighter note, i refuse to believe that Leon canāt decide on a name if we choose to have a kid with him heād 100% name his son Leon Jr or Leona if itās a daughter this is my only criticism with this update

Chapter 8 is amazing I feel terrible having to kick our RO / closest friend out but I wouldnāt be able to see them either if I was stuck in a perfect world with them. Canāt wait to get my revenge on Nessa

Yep everyone is literally feeling the same after what happened. Nessa probably messed up the dream or didnāt count on the mc escaping so she better watch out. Might have years of being keeper on us but we did things no one done before. Iām struggling to decide beside death or imprisonment for punishment.
My guess is that Nessa didnāt count on MC not figuring out that it was a dream but rather that even knowing would prefer to live a lie.
Needless to say she miscalculated.

Yeah, she messed up. As for meā¦ Sure, I do want her to pay, just not killing her like some of you HEATHENS here. >.>
The way I see she was clearly showing us what more or less happened to her in a way. Before frosty got involved, she was living her perfect life and world. Now, with her world taken away, she wanted to show us a glimpse of how her life was, only for it to be taken from her. Likely, either she went with Frosty under the notion that in exchange for her working with them, her family would be spared only to be betrayed OR they were killed on the onset and she only doing this just to set herself up to die in the process, sharing with us a rather painful lesson of what we might have to sacrifice when all is said and done.
Do I think she deserves atonement for her actions? Maybe. Sheās clearly lost all hope and faith in herself with her family likely gone and simply does want to spread her misery around with us. If there is no other way to have her redeem herself and death is the only means for mercy with her, Iād be fine with that. But, I honestly feel we have yet to really see the full picture with her just yet. Weāve only seen a glimpse to her and what we know so far. My gut is telling me there another shoe thats going to drop with her.
