While I’d rather leave any lewdness more ambiguous, I do agree with the overall idea. Some sort of heart-to-heart and attempt to comfort MC definitely feels like it should be in there.

This epic update is crazy I love it. So much drama and action going on.
I consistently fail with a score of 50.
My best stat is too low to actually be effective.
Also found outside of story mode I died in the jailbreak.
So apparently my character is a loser.

yea it seems like that stat checks even got higher since last update since ive always managed to get away from the jail scene without yakov’s help but now with a stat of 50 yakov would always come to help you now and you wont be able to get the scene without being saved by yakov or maybe im just mistaken and ive just skipped that part whenever i read it back then.
either way the stats are too low rn and i kept dying on the jail scene

Like I said before. The demo’s stats are kinda on the low end if your creating your creating with the “manuel” build up. With create a character though you will have high enough stats (oddly) to possibly survive.
However, once the game is truly ready and done, with saves it’s likely that your stats in those areas will be more than high enough to possibly survive. I know with one save that I was using for D&N that the starting stat for one I had was in the 30s-40s without any save editing. So I wouldn’t worry too much about it now, given it’s the demo.

Couldn’t help but roleplay this series as though my MC going into downwhirl spiral.
Mc- Ice Cambion that relies on his intellect and compulsion while bending shadows.
Book1- Is indifferent about the magic world/people but has negative view on the government for trying to use compulsion on him. Adapts well enough and tries to make the best of it while trying to control his powers. Ending with capturing Reyna, hoping to get more out of her.
Book2- Accepts that that’s just how things are now and goes all in into training so he can be better prepared. The whole Keeper business is getting really annoying, while the higher up either get in the way or are incompetent. Is starting to be more distant with everyone, is having trouble sleeping and getting irritate or paranoid. Ending with beating both keepers, and capturing Dominic only to get ambushed one nore time by Frostbite and concluding that the only way he can get a semblance of peace is by killing every single member of Frostbite.
Book3(so far)- He is infuriated, at the government for still getting in his way and at Frostbite for not only putting his friends in danger but especially for having the gall to not only trying to mess with him but also the whole Dominic fiasco. Now he’s being more active in no longer being kept in the shadows and more ruthless. He will not stop till Frostbite has being eraticated down to it’s last member and no one is getting in his way. Astrid and him finally decided to try out being a couple… at the worst time. Mc is having more trouble sleeping, acceptance has turned into numbness, a cold rage turns into distance from others, self-isolation and feeling… tired… so very tired.

If there’s an ending where we sacrifice ourselves, I’ll probably take it on a first playthrough, since at this point he just wants things over and done with.

Same my mc feels the same way. He has had enough of this. Since being forced to join magic school his life has been hell and now frostbite won’t leave him alone. Now he wants frostbite gone no matter what

I know you typed that, what you typed just isn’t relevant because I set my stats in “set stats directly” as close as possible to my character at the end of the second game.
So unless the couple of points I lost due to rounding down is the problem, and I don’t believe that for a moment, then my statement applies to the character I’ll be porting over when that option is FINALLY implemented.
So the character who had no problem being effective at every point in the previous two games, will, if this demo is any indication, will now suddenly be incompetent.

I have the same problem, all of my combat stats, telekinesis, willpower, fighting, elemental, our 31 to 40 and that worked out perfectly in the last two games so this sudden jump to 50 is kind of A surprise. I wasn’t expecting it to be easy… But still

I now feel very validated having dumped so many points into fighting. Sure, telekinesis and cunning are so low that they may as well not exist, but it gets the job done.

I feel like there should be a follow up to MC’s breakdown, like a discussion with the mom/dad/folks and the person you called. What happened at the parent’s place or when you went back to the dorm to the person who got a very worrying call? We know MC is going nutty, but we should also know how that is impacting the people who care about them.
I agree that the vacation scene feels empty, too. Maybe add some choices of who you can spend time with and what activities you can do.
