Thanks! Yes, the current plan is for MC to be able to side with the main villains at the end of book two, or side against everyone. Book three will have a lot of dark/bad endings for darker MCs!

Is it sad that MC learns more about Yakov from a stranger they’ve known for .5 seconds than they do from being around Yakov for a year?

Rather a small suggestion, but when talking with Reyna at the statue:
The mocking delivery tells you to think nothing of the remark, but you realize quite suddenly that Jaime and Reyna are dead and Davina Conti is well and truly alone.
There is a list of choices…it might be interesting to see her reaction if you say pity her, or even actually sympathize.

Yakov has a half-ex. Basically he was half-dating the person. I’m pretty sure Yakov is confused on what it is as well, as it seems like he doesn’t know if that relationship really was romantic or not. Hence the .5. But imo it could’ve been clearer by writing it as 0,5 instead?

The world & characters that you built in this series are absolutely undoubtedly completely and utterly amazing. I am so emotionally invested in so many characters. OMG I totally want want to play matchmaker for my suite mates & friends!!! There are so many -ships that I’d love to see happened. However, Leon (my lil’ lionheart as I’ve nicknamed him in my head) has undoubtedly won my heart as the best RO. lol
Furthermore, I also would like to commend you on your writing style. I find it very enjoyable and refreshing to read. I love how you have incorporated different writing styles for different aspects. I absolutely adore your conversational writing style, I can really feel the characters personality coming through. Plus, it feels engaging like we’re apart of the conversation. The informational writing, is so much like reading textbook or listening in class that I outwardly groan (I promise, I mean this in a good way). 
Even the style of writing for news & alert make me feel like that exactly what I reading.
If there is anything that I would like to see added would be for MC to show pity/remorse/sorrow for the kidnapped girl when she faced with the situation of possibly having to have experience the horror the MC has delt with. Because I just want to give her like the biggest hug, pat her on her head, & tell her everything is going to be okay. That I’ve got her back. Kind of how the MCs friends have done for them. (Sorry, I’m trying to be as cryptic as possible because I don’t know how to do the spoiler tag.)

I wouldn’t call it repetitive. It’s just a description that isn’t exclusive to just one species. It’s another glimpse on the family. I’d personally leave it exactly as it is.

@daydreamsincolor So I decided to reread book one yesterday which led me down a rabbit hole of reading the entire demo twice back to back and all your tumblr posts going back a year and I have to say I love your story!
Me being me my favourite part is spending time with the ROs and by that I mean Astrid because she’s the only logical choice ofc. I sort of wish the time we spend with the ROs was a bit more fleshed out though.
For example, I love how you’re placing a heavy emphasis on how the MC is overworking themselves and how there’s a little scene where Astrid calls you out on it. Or the little detail where Astrid just leaves if you spend too much time with fans taking photos, totally justified on her part and I loved how you included that. That said there are parts that I wished we actually saw rather than having them mentioned in passing.
In my playthroughs, Reyna stabs MC in the hand and later we’re told that Astrid treats you like glass the whole way back. I loved that but I would’ve liked to actually see her do that, some worried dialogue or something, just anything to flesh out the scene rather than hearing it told in a relatively passive way.
The only other major example that I would’ve loved to have expanded was when the suite gang are making the snowglobes, the entire thing from Astrid then was super cute but given that we were given the choice of what memory to put in it, my MC obviously put in the memory with Astrid because I mean, what other choice is there? Thing is, I’d have loved to see Astrid’s reaction to that. And since the entire gang agrees to not share what they put in (which is fair enough, you did say it’s a personal question) the choice of what memory you put in seems a bit pointless since there is no consequence (that I know of, please correct me if I’m wrong). There’s a similar sort of thing with giving Astrid a gift for the solstice if I remember right all the gifts result in the same MC is worried but Astrid assures them she loves it dialogue. From a game perspective, it feels a bit weird, it seems like this is the perfect spot to win some relationship score by remembering that Astrid loves chocolate eggs or something to that effect.
Personally, I feel like this goes for a few more parts of the story. Some parts feel really fast paced, I think a big one for me was that the MC almost got sidelined in favour of Marcela when she was revealed as a Keeper. I get that the hubbub is supposed to die down within a month or two but it seems like in that situation people might talk a little more about how two Keepers showed up so quickly back to back or in general there being a permanent spotlight on the MC (I remember reading either here or on your Tumblr that someone mentioned the idea of gossip surrounding the MC’s relationship status on Dear Delacroix? That sort of thing would be amazing) Or something addressing how both new Keepers are drakaina (my MC is a drakaina and if I remember right it was said that having a drakain Keeper was odd?) However, the demo ends very soon after the meeting with Marcela in the cafe so it’s entirely possible that you address this in the next version and I’m talking out of my ass haha.
I know I’ve written nothing but criticism but I just wanna say I totally understand if what I’ve said is a stretch because you obviously have to deal with a billion different branches and I’m loving the amount of depth you put into this, what with the politics and backstories and everything else. I’m really really looking forward to reading the final product!

Nah I bet it’s just jealousy from the Solanaceae students because they don’t have 2 keepers going there lmao. Even if it wasn’t a top healing program though, it’d probably be useful for MC specifically, since they seem to have a talent for getting attacked about once a month.
I think the reason they don’t react is because you’re supposed to see the memory in your mind or something like that. I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t show up in the actual snow globe.
I doubt most people would know that Marcela is a drakaina though. It doesn’t really seem like something that would be public information, or at least not something that people would know unless she told them herself. It would be different if she was a Nephilim or Cambion because of their political ties, but Drakaina don’t really have a major role in politics, so it’s possible that it just never really came up.
