Exactly! The first time I petted a cat it bit me, and since then I was pretty afraid of cats and would always avoid touching them. But a lot of cats would sometimes hang out near my neighborhood and I couldn’t resist petting them, so I did, and now I adore them!

Play as a cambion, and then you’ll have the option to train your magic skill or tame a hellhound with either Astrid or Altair.
Romance Alty then, he keeps those hound things and seems to love them. 
But my mc is not a cambion. 
So I guess Alty will just have to give my mc some therapy at some other time. I like the “angel”-boy demon-boy/incubus dynamic too much to romance Alty with any other mc. 
This game is worth re-playing 1000 times, so why not try a cambion MC? I tried a magician MC and realized how much content I missed out on!
Well 2 problems, once I romance a cute guy with one mc I usually can’t bring myself to do it with any other mc. Feels like cheating somehow. Probably just a bit of idiosyncratic weirdness of me.
And the second one is the website version, I can basically only play this game whenever I have a truly free weekend and those are limited, I just finished my magician and Cy playthrough a week ago.
I suppose I could do a cambion mc with Leon, but I’ve also planned to do a Kitsune with Dominic first as our newest boy seems cute and probably has a really sauve British accent. 
What do you reckon about Dom’s Britishness @ParrotWatcher & @TSSL ? You two are the experts on all things British. 
Romancing Dom also gives me a chance to see one of the girl’s subplot routes from a platonic/friendship POV. Probably going for Astrid’s route first.
…This is weirdly relateable. Whenever I romance a RO I can’t bring myself to do it with another character, so whenever I finish a playthrough with another MC I always restart as my original MC. It kind of feels like i’m “making up” for “cheating” on the RO 
Oh, I usually play them in one sitting.
I love Astrid’s platonic route, she’s such a lovely character. And honestly, it’s fun to have her as your best friend while romancing Leon (or vice versa). MC kinda gets extra stuck in their shenanigans.
And Dominic does offer me that possibility, otherwise to get the girl’s route you’d either have to be romantically interested in women or be prepared to be asexual or celibate, or at least forego all the cute guys while at university.
It’s what I like to do too, the problem is finding the uninterrupted blocks of free time to do it.
As you can imagine a call from the firm or a client interrupting a session has a way of killing my immersion and roleplaying mood.
He actually seems like a very chill character, I know that we’ve only seen a few scenes of him but I definitely like him. But sometimes I’m confused to why he doesn’t appear in RO asks on the blog, same thing applies to all the new ROs.
Maybe we should start specifically requesting him then? Or maybe the author wants to wait with commenting on him until she’s actually written his dates?
Anyway he’s cute, he’s an ro and he allows me to do one of the girl’s routes while still dating a cute guy.
Indeed, at the moment, while he does seem likable, his main attraction still is that he allows gay mc’s to explore one of the girl’s routes in the sequel while still being able to date a cute guy.

Well, there goes my mc’s genius plan of trying to hook up his mom, both to make her happy(ier) and to get 'Xander out of both of their lives. 
As for the public and even our suitemates, I assume nobody knows Lysander is actually the mc’s father (potentially for some mc’s including mine)…yet. As Alty certainly didn’t act like it and my mc pretty much explicitly told Alty his dad was deceased in part 1. Turned out to be a half-truth, but then Alty keeps plenty of his own secrets too.
Does mom by any chance plan on inviting 'Xander to dinner too, because that’s so totally not going to be awkward at all…
So in conclusion, while Alty’s route may be relatively light on the angst for Alty himself this time around, compared to his secret in the first game, it will skyrocket it for my poor mc.
As Alty’s new “boss” is certainly not my mc’s fave person and he’d have to constantly try to avoid the guy and Alty’s direct supervisor meanwhile has every reason to blame my mc for the death of Jaime or at least consider him guilty as an accessory.
Not, true, Alty’s actually decreased he even seems more relaxed in his one scene so far than in the first book, lucky bastard! since I Astrid has probably already forgiven him and I can’t see her holding a grudge against her brother.
Honestly, everyone’s angst level is rapidly increasing and in book 2 it’s just:
Gonna be honest, am probably going to spend time with Alty just to avoid all the drama. Him and Astrid are the most down to earth people right now.
Okay so this is kinda off topic to whatever is going on in the thread but I know I said Roxana was friends with Celosia but actually I think she was friends with Isabella, the human mom option / Lysander Dupree’s lover turned science experiment. Woah, I don’t know how I oversaw that one. Isa is Isabella.
Edit: On that topic, I wonder if all the parent options (since they’re confirmed to exist regardless of whether they’re the parent(s) of the MC or not) are connected to each other in some way shape or form.

Alty’s direct supervisor might still have it in for us regardless, as her son is the only one who cannot be spared. Poor cute Jaime. 
It’s slightly less stressful for the mc if they either don’t have 'Xander as their long “lost” magical parent I guess. However my main mc, who is the one who romances Alty, rather, unfortunately, doesn’t.
Well Astrid seems to think she can somehow single-handedly end the abominable (I and probably all of my mc’s agree) “trend” of ripped jeans.
While the goal is noble I think she is a more than a bit delusional in regards to its attainability, particularly if she seeks to “influence” guys as well as girls.
To be honest, still surprised about Leon and his major though, considering his abominable kitchen practices. Honestly would have suspected Leon to have studied economics, management or perhaps even law while perhaps doing some modeling on the side. Not that he needs the money but he’s vain enough.
Not only do they all exist, the mc also isn’t the only mutt or abomination born out of the Constellation Project they have fellow human or magi victims of the experiment who just ended up slightly more lucky in that they missed out on the keeper curse.
They are the connection seems to be the late Anetha Delacroix who somehow recruited them for her project and said Constellation Project itself.

Yeah, that’s the big question. Did Roxana plot against Anetha from the start, did Isabella and Roxana together plot to “get back” at Anetha for the Constellation Project? I haven’t fully played an MC with both parents, but I know you’re actually adopted by your aunt and uncle after your mother got herself killed presumably in the rouge attack. (Were the rogues really members of Frostbite and thus they kidnap Marcela both because she’s the daughter of the Melanthe [probably butchered the spelling] but because they know that she’s a keeper, possibly made from the same freak experimentation that Anetha carelessly inflicted on her own nymphs?)

I doubt it, on Isabella’s side at least, considering her then boyfriend and our possible deadbeat “dad” was the other major financier. For some explicable reason she continues to truly love the asshole still. Thus making all my mc’s current and past genius plans to try and hook her up with nice, single guys doomed to perpetual failure. Besides Anetha and the Delacroix fortune. Which also implies the financing requirements might have been in the area of rebuilding the Notre Dame huge and that even the fabulously wealthy Delacroix clan couldn’t finance it without additional venture capital coughed up by Lysander. It also wouldn’t surprise me if after Anetha’s death Lysander continued to exploit and refine some of the rituals and technologies and made a killing of off it.
So it wasn’t Celoisa after all. But still, it is funny how the Magic!Mom-option is friends with Human!mom-option.
Maybe, it seems plausible. If I recall correctly, every parental option was a victim of the Constellation project. Do you think magic!parents-option Alexa and Julian has some kind of connection? I remember picking them as an option (but my memory might’ve failed me) and the only one who has been exposed to the project was the mother, Alexa.
You’re right, it’d make sense they’d want revenge. And the author said that the Delacroix family has a respectable reputation, no one would believe they’d do such a thing. Roxana has been said to be a selfish person, revenge could be plausible in her case. I’m not sure about Isabella, but if she and Roxana are really close, and they’re both victims of some experiment… Then I can see how she could’ve been convinced. But a lot of people were killed at that attack (if i recall correctly, Leon’s mom too), so if all this speculation is true then let me say one thing: I wanna see the ROs’ reactions
