Okay, first, thanks to everyone who helped me get to this point.
I’m going to launch the final private beta. Anyone wanting to help me review the game please let me know.
It is completely reworked and there are character images never released before .
What’s your plan? Do you plan to start a new thread for the private beta phase? (Some published games used this system)
That said, take note. Only a small fraction of people who participate in a private beta will actually give feedback, so this approach is usually more effective if you are able to start from a high initial number of volunteers.
DM me when you’re ready. No promises. A WIP which I was following now seems to be on indefinite closure, so I’ve a little more bandwidth for other WIPs I’m following.
I was planning to use DM. A thread seems a good idea. I didn’t think of it, but I’m not sure it’s worth it only for the few people that might want to join.
Yeah, that happened to me already, but no worries. I just want to get a few okays or some minor adjustments to make. Besides that, I think I only need to finish some drawings and other stuff required to submit, so this is the final stretch (I hope).
Well, it was brought to my attention again that I was born in the wrong country.
After so much work that I can’t even begin counting at this point, I’ve learned a few things that halt the publishing of Katewing: Blue Nightmares via HG. I’m used to things like this, and I still haven’t realized if this is a curse or a blessing. Though I could have used all the time to do other things, I wouldn’t have met all the lovely people around here.
Ultimately, I did begin this project for personal matters, so I’m not regretting it. However, considering the gaping magnitude of the return over effort a project like this has, and how much I have invested in it, I can’t and have no intention to quit just now. As for the future of it and my other project, I still have no answer to that, but I won’t stop trying to find a way to bring this to fruition by another means. I don’t know when, but it’ll probably take a long time.
I deeply apologize to all those who invested their time and energy into it and were expecting a release. I’ll keep trying to find a viable alternative and announce any further progress on it.
