Steadily filling in some of the gaps in Phantasmagoria’s chapters I’d managed to leave out as I get spare moments to write.
Today I did “player manages to temporarily subdue a hellhound bent on crunching their bones.”
Do you think most players will…
- A) Leg it out of there while their skin is still firmly attached. (Logical option.)
- B) Decide for whatever reason it’d be a swell idea to break its chain and let it run free… (The what if response

(I’m genuinely curious what players go with, but kinda leaning towards more people choosing option B though I could be wrong.)
I imagine it did! I’ve had to force or *if choices in my randomised scripts before. The rand command doesn’t always play nice with randomtest ironically enough and can cause it to circle until it has a meltdown error. Glad you got it fixed
