Hello, we’re the What’s New in IF? team and we were told to post it here -

Do you have troubles keeping up with all the IF goodies published? Or are you looking for your next project to devour? Are you interested in events happening in other IF communities but don’t know where to start?

Here comes the What’s new in IF? zine!

A weekly zine recap’ing what has been happening in the Interactive Fiction community, from Ongoing Events, Game Releases and Updates, newly published Articles about IF, and more!

Releasing every Saturday, the zine looks back at the previous 7-day period, and is available in PDF, text-only, and interactive zine.

Put together by former lurkers, the zine aims to bring the IF community together by centralizing IF news, showcasing hidden gems, and encouraging our readers to interact with events and games!

NOTICE BOARD:

As the year comes to an end we in the WNIIF team are once again looking for feedback! The goal of this form is to find out our readers’ preferences and wishes, so we can make the 2025 edition even better!

Please spare a few minutes to fill it out. None of the questions are required, so you can answer only what you want!

– Submit an IF fun fact – Send us a mail –

This page needs to be reviewed by a moderator before it can go live. It should be available shortly. Why? In order to prevent abuse sometimes we need to delay publishing a page for additional review."

Ah dang… We had the same thing happen when we launched the first time back in April. We’re all in different timezones, so that might have flagged it…
EDIT again: I’ve sent an email to itch to fix it ASAP.

But the Zine page itself should still be online:

Issue 15 has just been released!

This week, we made an announcement (or more a reminder) about the future of the zine (p4), talked about the Decker Fantasy Camp and other IF-related events which happened last week (p5-7), sat down with Joey Tanden who revealed it all (p8-18), went over recent releases and updates (p19-23) and highlighted a few more games (p24).

Issue 16 was released just a few minutes ago!

This week, we opened The Column, a long-form space for our readers to discuss whatever they’d life, talked about the Single Choice Jam (thread here) and other IF-related events from this last week, had a blast talking with Catsket about their work, went over the MANY recent releases and updates and highlighted a few more games.
