Yeah, the dad seems more idealistic, at least. Too busy to be bothered with the MC, but not as harsh as the mom. Makes me wonder if the dad has been beaten down by the mom but just doesn’t care because he works 24/7.
Neither one of them seemed to want a kid, whatever the case.
You can’t be as big of an asshole as Blake, but you can hate Seven and be nasty to them every opportunity you get. Or just avoid them.
It’s not as powerful as what Blake can do, of course, because like you said, the MC doesn’t have a modicum of the stardom or temperament, but MC can be nasty in their own way.
Maybe, but that could quickly change. Example: the MC is also befriending G and V, who have a lot of influence. With cameras everywhere, that’s going to become more visible (especially after they got filmed in the diner), and it’s something neither Blake nor Seven have that we are aware. It’s possible that could gain the MC some fans, really-- “Look, G and V are hanging out with MC!!” Of course, that gives credence to the claim that MC cheated, so maybe it’s a bad thing…
Well, it tracks, doesn’t it? Seven is like a less cool, slightly less successful version of G, so it would stand to reason we’d be less cool than Blake, with Seven’s level of success setting the lower level of ours in comparison (MC’s band has like less than half as many fans as Seven, and Blake’s number of followers is about that when compared to G’s).
Whatever the case, my point was the MC is the Blake in the thing with Seven. We sure as hell aren’t like G, since G has everything going for them, charms everyone, everyone loves them, and they can do no wrong. Those things apply to Seven, not to the MC.
Yes. Avina is just better at pretending to be cordial. Between the two of them, I would trust Blake more and rather deal with them than Avina–at least Blake’s honest and not pretending to be sweet and reasonable while hating the MC with every fiber of their being.
