My main MC covered it up with a star tattoo and will gladly rub it in Seven’s face. Like, “See, I don’t care about you! You don’t even exist to me!” (All lies.) It’s her only tatoo too so it does stand out a bit.
My second MC also covered up their tattoo with some flowers but not because she wanted to erase Seven’s memory. She still cares about Seven and is sad about the way things ended but decided covering the tattoo is a good way to move on healthily. Has a few other tattoos.
Neither try to hide their tattoos. Both are pretty fond of them.

Not just wierd, it also felt out of character. Sure, my MC left the party, but it wasn’t to hang out with total strangers (going to the diner with Sebastian and Maya felt the same, to be honest) it was to see Orion (I legitimately thought that I’d be able to bring up what the girlband told me about the cheating allegations pre-emptively the first playthrough.) And while G did help MC out with the ride back to the hotel (I also really wish I could tell S and M that no, I don’t want to walk them to their hotel, but have a nice evening or something) it’s not anything that would put you on the level of “I’ll endanger everything I’m trying to do and destroy the chances of my band as well for you” gratitude. Sincerely hope that the rewrite gives us more bow out/“how is this my problem” options.
That’s interesting to me, because given my MC build, it felt like the tattoo was something MC did because Seven wanted them and MC didn’t really care. So I tend to pick the “had it removed” option. It wasn’t really their thing, it was Seven’s thing. When Seven no longer wanted anything to do with them and didn’t even have the spine to actually tell them choosing instead to publicly humiliate them by very publicly “dating” other people before even breaking up with MC there was no reason to hang on to any of Seven’s things, including the tattoo that MC didn’t really want or not want.

Hurting the MC really seems to be Seven’s raison d’être, from the time they decided to “dump” the MC without telling them by dating/screwing people in their face.
I’m really hoping we have some choices for the MC at the party that aren’t “MC is horrible and Seven is a victim and was perfectly right to do what they did”. While I get that the MC not standing up for them gives Seven reason to be angry, I don’t want my previously nice MC turned into a demonic harridan just to justify Seven’s over-the-top nasty behavior.

If so, that was a pretty calculated move to isolate MC further, after already removing a good deal of what little support system MC had, which seems to have primarily been Seven and his mother. It’s just plain abusive.
In light of the above, I wonder if MC compared Seven to his father.

You know, I could actually understand that from the MC, who would be very hurt at that point in time, with Seven screwing around and being a dick instead of talking to the MC. Because, if that’s how Seven behaved, they were being emotionally abusive, at the very least and deserved to be called out for it. Hell, the way they act now deserves the same call-out–they are using the MC as their personal emotional punching bag, and doing it repeatedly.
The last time I ran through the demo, from an outside perspective, Seven is a really horrible person to do what they do to a MC who is not fighting back. The way he treats the MC is inexcusable, even if my MC feels like she deserves the abuse.

So for my main MC, I have it that she mainly got the tattoo for Seven and probably wouldn’t have gotten one otherwise. But after the breakup and a long time in what she calls “a funk” (Probably depression, she just won’t admit it.), she comes to a realization that screw Seven, who gives a f@ck about that bastard, I don’t need you! And gets another tattoo that she views as actually her own and a symbol that Seven doesn’t matter to her.
My second just likes tattoos. She’s that one Tumblr post about a cute looking girl wearing a strawberry coat who then takes it off and reveals a whole bunch of kickass tattoos.

I’m curious if the MC will be able to consider this cheating. I assume it’s common sense to conclude that if you’re being ghosted, the relationship is over, but I’m also curious how hard the MC attempted to keep in touch with Seven. Did they go to their residence, did they ask Lucy where they were, did they text or call them constantly, and so on?
I’m also curious whether there will be another option to conceal or remove Seven’s initials tattoo later in the story. I question this since some MCs may desire closure on what happened between them and to know if their relationship is salvageable before having it removed or covered.

That’s interesting. Was it confirmed on Tumblr that Seven was sleeping around with “friends” of ours? If so, what the fuck? That would make sense as to why the rest of the band decided not to deal with Seven anymore, if that’s the behavior they decided to partake in.

That’s better if they’re not the MC’s friends. That being said, the most satisfying path for Seven is ex-best friends becoming lovers. If you choose the ex-lover path, I can already see how many MCs would feel discarded, as if they didn’t matter to Seven at all.
This is a good theory; however, I’m hoping the rumor is more than the MC being disposed of and replaced by their casual friends as a notch in Seven’s bedpost.

That doesn’t sound necessarily romantic or anything, it sounds more like Seven is just trying to have a good time in front of MC to demonstrate how awesome he feels after the break up. So he’s hanging out and partying with mutual friends or strangers but not necessarily making out or hooking up with other people in front of MC.
