G can get anything he wants from my MC. I hope I get to be Gs pet. I was kinda mad that the idiots think my MC was in an affair with annoying bitch Victoria. Can’t wait to prove em wrong and ruin my rep further!
Yeah, I have some experience with that as well, so I get where you’re coming from. Unfortunately, cliche as it may sound, G will have to realize they have a problem before the addiction can be solved.
I think with G it’s a two fold issue, though. One issue is that they use drugs and booze to cope and have become dependent on the booze, at the very least. The other issue is (another cliche sounding thing) G needs to figure out who he is, and try to find what is left of the person instead of the image. I think doing that will help him understand the addiction and kick it.
Or he will do like so many do and have to hit rock bottom before the addiction can be kicked. I’ve honestly wondered if the “death” and “mention of death” will revolve around G hitting rock bottom, instead of the MC (MC isn’t allowed to be so self-indulgent, after all). G wanting to help the MC and not being able to, and having the one thing he’s stuck his ass on the line for turn to shit (helping the MC because he believes in their talent) just might send him over the edge, especially with Viktor constantly kicking him in the teeth.
Exactly. And the freedom frightens them, because they’ve always had that restraint on them.
I think it’s safe to say that G is not in the best of mental headspaces because, even without talking about his addiction, they react very exaggeratedly so to speak to the most simple of niceties. You could probably ask them “hey did you sleep well?” and they would look at you as if you just grew a third arm. They’re scared of something, and whatever it is it’s eating at them to the point where just the idea of fighting back against Victor is just nonexistent. That’s not an option.
Which is why I can’t wait to help them. They’re a really organic character when it comes down to certain topics. They might be over the top while playing G the rockstar, but once the curtain falls it’s just the shell of a human being.
I’m sorry, this comment made me laugh because a) yes, let’s go get that bread b) I got major vietnam flashbacks for the ending of the demo sfjksjk
What if Sev needs an emergency kidney transplant and the MC is the only compatible donor? The internal turmoil that would happen from the combination of having to be saved by the MC and literally having a piece of them inside Sev + knowing the sacrifice the MC does without a second thought would be delicious
I like all the introspective G talk while i’m over here still stewing in bitterness that they didn’t even give Vic the courtesy of knowing the plan beforehand lolll. I don’t even care about them doing the same to the MC bc who the hell is the MC to them, especially an MC who isn’t romantically interested in them. But Vic didn’t deserve that. VICTORIA GET BEHIND ME!! G, stay BACK!!
As much as I don’t care about Victoria, so sorry to the Vic stans, yeah that whole situations sucks and she didn’t deserve it. However, I wouldn’t put it under an emotional label, because chapter 3 reveals all there is to know about their marriage, so saying they should have treated her differently out of love doesn’t stick. Although you are allowed to throw rocks at me because I’m actively trying to fuck her fake husband.
Let Avina give them their kidneys. Given how far up their ass Avina is, I’d think it’d be compatible. If not… too bad.
I say that, and two of my MCs would give over a kidney for them. One of them would be like, “That’s too bad. I need to go now…”
It’s not about love it’s about respect tbh, even if your marriage is …what it is… you’re still more than just acquaintances and she deserves more respect than that :’-(
edit; especially after seeing her reaction to it and G knowing how their fans are. it was just nasty work, unintentional or not. I am majorly biased though because i am a G hater til i die lmfao
Lack of respect is more appropriate, but as we’ve discussed before G is too fucked up over whatever is going on with mister douchebag. Which is not a justification, let’s be clear, but unfortunately it is what it is atm. I’m sure things will work out for the best even if you don’t pursue either (read as: you’ll be able to break the marriage anyway, because clearly it’s not doing them any favors)
I mean, honestly, if Vic had been paying attention, she would understand why it went down the way it did. The MC is new to the scene, so it’s understandable why they’d get mad and not comprehend that G even asking Viktor not to screw them over is a big deal, but Victoria? She literally watches Viktor treat G like shit on a daily basis. She also knows that G holds no power with Viktor, just like she holds no power with Viktor.
So, really, if she has a problem with it, she should fight Viktor harder, too. It’s not fair to say G is responsible for it and Victoria is a victim. They’re both victims of Viktor, and the fact that they never put up a united front is on them both.
And… before anyone says G is more at fault for lack of a united front, Victoria treats him like he’s a child (which, at times, he’s very much one), and she doesn’t stand up for him, either. It goes both ways. This is why I think this marriage is too fucked up. It was built on a weak foundation and a commitment made out of convenince and to help them both with their careers, not because they loved each other so much that they wanted to commit.
You’ve been guilty of that too
I don’t think G or Vic needs MC to be their saviour, I think both of them should get over themselves - and I can see what the narrative is doing, it invites you to feel sympathy for two people who did nothing but screw MC over so far.
Shhh! You weren’t supposed to point that out!
Valid. At this point, there aren’t many people who haven’t screwed over the MC or treated them like shit, though!
I definitely think it’s not all on G, Vic is the one that dragged the MC along and that’s why they’re in this situation but im just saying that G could have done the bare minimum and been like “Hey girl just FYI, victor is about to make a scandal out of you LOLL” because that’s the decent thing to do. Vic does so much for G, and they give like…nothing back in return
I honestly thing G was afraid to warn Victoria. It seemed he wanted to tell the MC, and I figure the same was for Vic, but from his perspective, he figured they’d both just hate him and blame him, because that’s what he’s used to getting. So I can see why he didn’t give a warning, even if it was the right thing to do.
I think he was just afraid. I think he’s afraid of a lot of things, and the booze drowns it out.
you’re actually so right and i hate you for making me feel bad for G.
Now that I think about it, G often starts to tell you stuff and then gets interrupted (for the sake of cliffhangers, I know) but yeah I guess that’s them trying to confess xyz while also getting timely saved (and consequentially fucked) by whatever. I genuinely believed they don’t enjoy doing that stuff, but also again there’s a sword of damocles over their head for sure.
I mean tbh whether you’re a G or Victoria stan or not, they both need to break up. Like their marriage is too messed up to save imo.
Especially since I’m the new chapter G basically confirms that they were pretty much forced to marry for their image so it’s not like loves young dream.
I think they both love each other in a way like familial but I don’t think they’re IN love with one another. And even if mc “gets them together properly” or gets in a poly with them I don’t see it changing.
G is very childish yes. But Victoria is also not great bc she enables him and his behaviour at times.
Basically G needs rehab. Victoria needs to go off and become a famous actress. And mc needs to win botb and go solo
7 will always be my main me–>🤡
But that trial run of Gs route I did made me sad for him. He was 15 and thrust into the life of a rockstar, no doubt not ever taught basic…adulting. I mean look at real life and the large percentage of child/teen stars with mental/drug problems and suicides. It’s great for someone to get to live that “dream” but the cost…
