Yeah, that’s why I’m kind of on Blake’s side with exposing the show and the industry for what they are (not that it’d matter, but it’d feel good, at least). And destroy Avina, because it would be equally as fun.

Misfit Alley probably lends it some legitimacy and I’d probably still take the chance if I were a band that needed that big break, but winning? Mmmm, pass. I mean, I need MC to win for my ego, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Now looking through everything, I kinda realized I made a MC that is a depressed doormat who rationalizes others hurt and chases glimpses of light in relationships even when obviously doomed, from her still trying with her parents or just internalizing her emotions, chasing Seven cause she isn’t over it, albeit every slightly decent interaction essentially soldifying that run, being tired of music and the band, but being so afraid of losing the only thing they have for a support system she pushes through the bullshit even if she really wants to quit, and wanting a break from it all and for life to just stop for once. I really like the fact I named her Paz just to add a hint of sting to it all, Paz won’t have peace.
I do feel all this bullshit allows for some development after all one can only compartmentalize so much and cope in time, sometimes the actual emotions you feel must come out, which is why my MC is becoming less of a doormat. Like they finally pushed away G, saying while apologizing matters, they need distance and him to act normal.

Aw, I think they try to be nice! I don’t think they want to be That person. I just think it’s funny to sort of know their internal process when it comes to MC and know how off it is. I think that’s why it’s a little more “bless your heart” than rage-inducing.

Not that far, I don’t think. But they probably wouldn’t react the way Seven is expecting.
It’s a rare name, technically gender neutral, I kinda wanted to lean in the cosmic irony of a person who is named after Peace being legitimately one of the most troubled people, also makes for a great song title, like “A Yearn For Peace” fits for a prog rock song. It is used more often as a nickname to names like Topaz.

As long as they haven’t done or said anything truly abhorrent that jeopardizes the MCs physical safety or reputation in the public sphere, I am, at worst, mildly baffled by them and slightly amused by their fixation on the MC (through Seven).
They’re hardly a threat to me (in how I play the game), but I also don’t find the Seven romance appealing at all (despite them being my MCs ex).

I’m trying my bestest to warm up to them as a character and see them as a character, but my eyes lose vision each time there are shippy moments between Seven and Avina. Must be blood pressure.

Me myself I have learned not to put myself too much into said stories, but even then the fact Avina with all the physical closeness and yapping they did could not command Seven’s attention compared to my MC, Paz talking about cooler magnets and Lucy makes it better to me, like woman (in a non-binary way) you can’t take her off me, metaphorically.

Oh, I don’t think you need to like them they haven’t done much to be likable. I just think they’re funny. I think the psychic damage it would do to Seven if Avina ended up actually liking MC as a person would be hilarious.

Honestly, whether you like Seven or not, you have to agree that watching Seven and MC stare piningly at one another in the car while avina was quite literally begging for crumbs was hilarious cringe on their part. The desperation is showing, the way they jumped on seven afterwards? lol. lmao, even
