I was going for an academic alternative rock thing. My band is called Western Hills, and the fandom is Prestigious of Ivy (which would also be a nice band name; probably use that in a different run; no one’s name is Ivy; it’s a play on the Ivy League).
The name of my group chat is “The shit stains on my ass.” I might change that, but I figured it fits with a group of friends, like shit; they’re hard to get rid of and can be annoying at times, but ultimately loyal (if they’re good friends) to sticking with you.
Haven’t fully decided yet, but I picked Helvetica in my first playthrough and the fandom was The Neues (which is both an awful font pun and it kinda sounds like “the news”, which just wonderful 2 am thinking on my part.)
As for the group chat, I named it “The sewer rats” because it’s on brand for me. Btw I really loved that option, like it’s such a small thing but when I saw the input thingy I was like hell yeah!
I named my band off of a song from the musical/movie RENT: La vie Boheme. Our followers are Bohemians. I chose it because I thought it matched my character’s thoughts on the music industry. They were here to make music and spread it as far as possible, no matter if theyre hated, no matter if they dont make a bunch of money. And the pursuit of art and community over material wealth is what the bohemian lifestyle is all about.

Raven Rose
Raven Rose (stage name Ophelia) is my folksy rock, humble MC inspired by artist like Fleetwood Mac and Susan Christie (I had just watched EEAAO and fell down a folk-rock rabbit hole lol), though the band as a whole currently falls under the pop rock genre (I hc that it’s the sound that Seven wanted for the band and Raven just went with it). She’s still in love with Seven and wears it openly on her sleeve. She isn’t obsessive or anything (or at least I hope not ) but if someone asks her about Seven she will admit that he was her first love and she is having a hard time moving on from him. He left a pretty big hole in her heart.
With all that being said, the band’s (Mirror in the Creek, Fans are called Shards) most popular song is the post-break up song that she wrote right after Seven left. I also went with a wallflower theme like @parisgracex

If Amy allows us to do something like this, I plan for Raven to go solo at the end of the game. I think she holds herself back a lot for others and isn’t reaching her true potential. But whatever path Amy gives us, I’m fine with it! I’m excited to see where she takes us. Idk if I’m going to have Raven get back with Seven yet or not, though right now she is taking every opportunity she can to be close to him again.
Ariana Jackson
Ari is my messy, cocky RnB singer inspired by artists like Tinashe, Sade, Beyoncé (Ik very different vibes ). She’s got a love/hate thing going on with Seven and I plan for her to have a very messy fling with Blake.
The band is called Ari and the Angels and like Raven, Ariana has solo potential and is ready to go solo, but she definitely needs more self-control. I can’t even remember the lyrics that I wrote for her, but the overall vibe of the band is very sensual and sexy. The fans are called Cherubs.
Idk what’s going to happen with Ari, I just know it’s going to be messy
Mine are Sweet Ophelia (glam rock), Ruthless Vows (grunge) and Cruel Illusions (pop-punk). As for fans name: Ophelia’s followers (sound very cultish ik but my brain is blank😂), RV are called Divine Rivals (RV and DR are two books in a serie) and The Illusionists. I’ll probably change band names 100 times more before the game is out though, so will see how they change along the way.
Mine is an alt-rock band called Supervillain Murder Party. Fandom calls themselves Underlings, the group chat is the Lair of Evil. Lots of revenge songs, and my lead singer tends to have an angry and raging stage presence.
The options related to playing the villains for the media felt very on-brand, but my MC is more of a sweetheart of stage, she couldn’t actually bear to act like that
Ooooh I love playing on names! I’ve got Bad/Society (in iconography the / would be a burning or falling apart building) and the Fandom is called the Socialites (cuz yk only the elite would enjoy a Bad Society) and group chat is something like “bad ppl ”
I decided to go with electro-swing for my band’s genre. Originally I just used one of the default band name options the game gives you, but I think when I do that playthrough again I’ll call the band Sweetswingers and the fandom can be called the Sweeties. The group chat can then be called something like Candy Factory because it’s where the sweet stuff gets made.
Misery Chord, which is wordplay on miséricorde, and you might think that they’re some kind of metal or emo band, but no, they do EDM.
Fandom’s called the Misery Business, which is a very thinly veiled reference to the Paramore song of the same name (I like that song, okay?), but the official excuse is that they’re totally unrelated.
And the group chat is just called “The Dipshits,” because my MC is the type of person to lovingly call her friends morons in polite company.
