In my head, I sing the lyrics provided by Amy to see which ones fit best with the rest of the song. I learned while playing this that while I can’t come up with lyrics, and I can’t write music with notes and stuff, I can make lyrics sound good in my head

I do have to ask cos I’m curious now (and kicking myself for not noticing this WiP sooner!), but as far as lyrics go, is there any plan to have people react to some of the premade ones?
Moooooooostly because the idea of being a smol lil cinnamon rol that got famous over a rager of a breakup song because of Seven gives me LIFE.

I feel that, but I also greatly enjoy how hilarious it is if the mc’s favorite song is about still being hopelessly in love with Seven and them being so oblivious that theyre genuinely surprised when you admit it to them. I also chose the pop-punk genre. And rip lyrics from my favorite band. And i didnt realize until playing this, but the name I use for every character ever (not my real name) has the initials MC, which is downright hilarious.

I’m using Fall Out Boy lyrics from “Disloyal Order of Water Buffaloes” specifically because of the line “I’m a loose bolt of a complete machine. What a match! I’m half-doomed, and you’re semi-sweet.”
and I’m contemplating using Paramore’s “That’s What You Get” and “Ignorance,” considering they fit the theme of Seven and the MC’s tumultuous relationship.
That would be nice. If people wish to utilize different lyrics, there may be keywords that each character reacts to. For example, if you’ve flirted with one of the characters more than once, they’ll react to the words “crush” or “relationship” when you say them. The word “love” could be Seven’s keyword.

I’ve been transported back to my eighth grade poetry unit. I’m just desperately trying to make things rhyme while keeping with the theme of the band. It’s not super great.
Main mc is synthpop, I was watching too many Security Breach run-throughs at the time and figured it was close to glam rock but cooler. The other one is alternative.

I’m using a mixture of lyrics from Shinedown, Halestorm, One Republic, and (don’t judge me) Elvis, because I always wanted to hear Elvis songs done in a hard rock/heavy metal way.

Love his music, but I’m hoping for no Jonathan Coulton mentions later in this game because if he does exist in this universe my MC would be sued out of her gourd for stealing all his songs.
We also stole his indie/folk rock sound which probably explains why aggressive punk Seven got demoted

Main is like mash up of punk rock with some metal influence. Like if paramore with the low growling voice of metal sometimes. I’ve got one on the back burned of indie folk rock like of Monsters and Men. And maybe another bc I thought of band that was full like alternative rock but it was all psychedelical or something would fun. Got the idea listening Who is she it not rock but I like the weird feeling of it

The genre of my band is experimental. I imagine their style of music is similar to the band HEALTH. They were my inspiration for my band’s name too, I named them after their song BLACK STATIC. Their fandom name is BLAST (see what I did there?)

My MC is a mix between an early Bohemian Stevie Nicks (for fashion style and singing style) and Grimes for being a singer, songwriter and (i think eventually) her own record producer.
Lyrics, I go for old style love ballad lyrics from bands lie Chicago and REO Speedwagon…
