Does anyone else feel that if Seven truly heals both mentally and emotionally, they might let go of Avina? To me, it seems like Avina is more of a placeholder to fill the void left by MC, rather than an actual friend. Even though Avina considers Seven their best friend—as stated in their internal monologue during the Avina POV of the photoshoot—Seven doesn’t open up to them as much as you would expect best friends to, a sentiment Avina also acknowledges in their internal monologue in the same POV. I think Avina even admits that they’re lucky Seven even told them about Lucy and whatever this secret is.
I could be wrong and Seven will start appreciating them more as a friend once (s)he heals but I’m personally leaning more towards Avina being a temporary replacement.

It sure seems so, given how affectionate and clingy Seven was with MC in flashbacks. It feels like he’s trying to fill an emptiness in his chest with them near-constantly, yet it doesn’t really ever feel the same.
Seven in general is very… codependent, I guess. Can’t live with them, cannot without them is his life motto when it comes to MC now, and he still hasn’t moved on despite several years.

In the sense of them not being friends? No, but gradually not needing to share a bed with them, being upfront with how they feel instead of succumbing to what Avina wants, being able to regulate their emotions, telling Avina to let them handle what’s transpiring by themselves, and essentially setting boundaries, yes. Seven is supposed to grow as a character, so their gradual changing makes sense, just as Avina potentially spiraling from Seven not needing them as Seven becomes more independent. Avina seems to crave a sense of satisfaction from “helping,” and Seven, with all of their emotional problems, fulfills their craving. It would also make sense for Avina to feel a sense of loss because they aren’t receiving that satisfaction from Seven. I believe they’ll continue to be friends; Seven just won’t be dependent on them, and Avina will have to come to terms with that by also becoming more independent themselves.
Side note: I don’t believe the MC should have to tell Seven they’re uncomfortable with them sharing a bed with Avina once they’re in a relationship. Seven should naturally progress as the story goes on and gradually stop sharing a bed with Avina.
I agree with this; their friendship seems more transactional-based than anything, but that’s just my interpretation. That could change with them both becoming more independent of each other and valuing one another better once they heal, as you’ve stated.

I wonder if there’ll be separate versions of romances - something, say, like toxic and destructive version compared to healing and restorative one. Because if there will be such variations, I’ll be the first to jump on this ship.
After all, LIs breaking with MC if they get too toxic is a bit too eazy. Fleetwood Mac managed to release four albums in their mess, and so can we!

I wonder how much of Seven’s mental problems Avina has actually seen. Because I think that if Seven absolutely loses it down the line (which I’m sure they will if Blake or the show’s production pushes them enough for ratings), Avina will have a “Fuck, what did I get myself involved with?” moment of realisation of how unstable Seven actually is and that they bit off more than they could chew in thinking they could fix Seven.

That’s the main reason my mc doesn’t choice to share the tour bus with SV…she doesn’t want to see seven & avina together cuddling up.
It was bad enough reading them singing together in the old chapter 2 and mc being forced to watch

Same. Same. I don’t like Blake, but at least he (my canon) keeps it civil. With the other bus, 7 is shooting lasers at MC head, gets passive aggressive (the you don’t know me. what I wish that was true) or tries to make them jealous by being glued to his bestie. “HEY MC. DO YOU KNOW WE SLEEP TOGETHER. EVERY NIGHT. IN THIS BUS TOO. AND YOU WILL HAVE TO SEE IT. YOU LOSER.”
And that eyefucking scene. I did not pick the singing scene with G, but now knowing 7 is jealous on orion and G, and that session will probably be broadcast. Fuck it. I’m. Consequence be damned.

Hm, depends. ex!Seven gets most of the ROs on edge for obvious reasons. I think someone like Dakota would discomfort Sebastian because Dakota is everything Seb is not. I think there are levels to it depending on MC and how MC is around the other ROs too. Plus, things with the storyline and plot points! So yeah, it depends haha but ex!Seven is definitely one that most of the ROs would be jealous of. Seven and MC were so close when they dated it (at least outwardly) looked like a perfect relationship. The other ROs can’t help but compare their relationship with MC to it.
Seven would be jealous of O and G in particular!
