Reasons why if I replay NWN2 I do it for Mask of the Betrayer and all that. They really did everything wrong with this sequel.

OMG! I whined the same thing for years! 1st they kill my beloved Aribeth and then Shandra!
For a while there I though I was doomed to fall for the ‘Gonna die in the end’ lady.
NWN2 Mask of the Betrayer was a gem though. I mean it had its problem, but I LOOOOOOVE IT so much. But NWN2 main campaign? I went through it with greeted teeths…because I came from NWN1 main campaign and my butthurt is forever.
Oh, and for Shandra death. What was the point? I believe they committed the same horrible sin that whats his name did with Willow in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Kill X so Y can go all Dark Vader.
In this case, they killed her so it show his humanity or remorse or something. Since you can take him back to her farm and stuff. And I’m like ‘‘Can I kill him now?’’.
Still…
you kinda can get revenge later, in Mask of betrayer when you find his soul 
I think…anyway.

If PC has high enough influence with Shandra, the PC can get Ammon to show remorse for killing Shandra where he begs Shandra for a sign of forgiveness. Ammon then finds Shandra’s tear shaped pendant among the debris at her burned down farm.

What did you think about Dorian from Dragon Age: Inquisition btw? Because that was also a little tropey.
Dorian was written by a gay man who put a lot of personal experiences into his character. I think his romance is lovely, other than the romance quest where you disregard what he asks you because you Want What’s Best For Him (also a problem in Josie’s route.)
I can’t say I was terribly thrilled with Sera, myself. And a buddy of mine ruined her for me by informing me that she apparently has some dialogue where she outs Krem as transgender, and then proceeds to misgender him anyhow.
I’ve never seen this dialogue, because again, Sera doesn’t really do much for me, but if it does exist, whoof.
@Zyrios The dialogue isn’t about Krem–she outs/misgenders a background character at the Winter Palace, take care if you take her to Wicked Eyes Wicked Hearts (I think it’s in the first conversation you have with her there). There’s a mod that removes the dialogue, but, yeahhh. Not Sera’s finest moment.
For Choice of Games: I recently played Social Services of the Doomed, and I hated Vanja. I’m usually all for Enemies To Lovers, and getting to call characters out on their terrible behaviour, but I don’t find anything appealing about a character who consistently negs you, while being racist and unprofessional.

Ah, I misheard, then, my bad. I was told it was about Krem (Quick explanation for the uninitiated: Krem is the lieutenant of Iron Bull’s mercenary company. He’s female-to-male trans. There’s a conversation you can have with the Chargers where you address this.), I didn’t realize it was the Winter Palace.

On that topic, I’m okay with there being no ro for f-f, but I think I would have liked a few more nods to the orientation interspersed here and there.
Not one night stands or anything, but maybe being able to decide just how the Marshall hides obvious attraction or perhaps someone recognizing her looking in an obvious way. Make it into a Darren scene even.
That said, its been a minute since I last picked it up, so if thats changed I would love someone mentioning something.

April Fool’s HC game where, instead of trying to decide which RO you like most, you spend the game figuring out which one you hate least, and if you manage to go no romance, the game’s just all, “buddy, I can’t say I blame you, I think these guys suck, too.”
